This is a lovely and welcoming apartment with a patio in the center of Florence, 2 + 2 beds, and is newly renovated. It is located on the ground floor (no stairs) of a characteristic building in the district of Santa Croce, in the heart of the historic center. It was renovated by the owner, an architect with twenty years of experience, who wanted to preserve and enhance the features and characteristics typical of an ancient Florentine house: wooden beams, antique portico with stone column and brick arches. It consists of an entrance hall, a living room with dining area and relaxation area, a sofa bed, a sleeping area with a French double bed and separated by curtains, a private courtyard with a fountain, and a bathroom with a shower. The apartment gets great sunlight and is very quiet because it overlooks the private courtyard. It is warm in winter and cool in summer and equipped with every comfort: independent heating, air conditioning, free wifi internet access, books, magazines, tourist guides in Italian, English, French, German, and maps. There is a fully equipped kitchen, including coffee, oil, salt, sugar, and a large selection of teas. Dishwasher and washing machine. Because the apartment is located in the heart of Florence where only Florentine residents are permitted to park, it is necessary to leave your car in one of the parking garages near the apartment (fee €. 20-25/day). You can easily walk to every place of artistic and cultural interest. If you arrive by train, you can walk or reach me directly by bus. If you arrive by plane you can take a taxi directly to my front door. This district is the most charming of the city and the street is quiet and peaceful. I will be glad to welcome you personally: check-in and check-out every day of the week at a time to be agreed upon at booking. I am waiting for you! Rooftop with Breathtaking Views. Short Walk to The Duomo.

Climb the white marble staircase to the breathtaking rooftop terrace, boasting unforgettable views of the hills surrounding Florence and the historic center. This apartment has been newly renovated, mixing different kinds of architecture and design. In the flat there is plenty of space for your smart-workstation: internet is fast and reliable, accessible from every corner. We take particular care in sanitizing all the critical areas, in particular the space is sanitized by means of ozone generators. The apartment is newly restyled with a very special taste, mixing different styles in the architecture and design. It is a 2 floors apartment at the last floor of a mid 20th century building right outside the historical city center: at the first floor there are the bedrooms (a Suite and a second bedroom) the bathroom and a wardrobe room. The Suite is introduced by an elegant living area with a separè industry in glass and iron dividing it from the double bedroom with balcony and fireplace. The second bedroom has a big wardrobe with mirrors, a fine couch and twin beds to be disposed at one's will. Through an elegant white marble staircase we have access to the brand new rooftop kitchen and the wide terrace with a view on the hills sorrounding Florence and spots of the old buildings of the historic center. The apartment is entirely reserved to our guests, access to it is by the staircase or by elevator with private access to the floor. The rooftop terrace is only for our guests with sole access from inside the apartment by a staircase. At the same floor in a separate flat live the owners, always ready to help! The owner lives next door and is always available if needed. Chez Geraldine is an apartment just outside the historical center. It’s predominantly a residential district, but the cathedral, Galleria dell'Accademia, and Piazza San Marco are a 15-minute walk away. Food stores, restaurants, and bars are close by. AVAILABLE 4 BIKES (adult size) for our guests, included in the price. Please, use it with care and lock it well each and any time you leave them without custody, thank you. IN CASE OF THEFT OR SEVERE DAMAGE DUE TO NEGLIGENCE YOU WILL BE REQUESTED TO PAY THE VALUE OF THE BIKE OF 160€. Thank you WALKING: the city center is at only 15 mins walking. BY BUS: a few steps away from the building there are buses to the city center and the station.

Major decisive point is the central location with private garage OUTSIDE the ZTL (limited traffic zone). Located on the ground floor (4 steps) the apartment is the result of a careful and recent renovation, still retaining the old features of the city. Upon entering you will find yourself in the bright living area furnished with an elegant and large sofa bed for 2 people, a spectacular table designed by Saarinen, 4 modern and comfortable chairs. The open floor plan is complemented by a fitted and equipped kitchen area. The romantic bedroom boasts a big window and a large closet with mirrored doors. It's complemented by a stylish bathroom with shower. Guests have access to the whole apartment During the stay I will always be available and in touch with guests by email or phone. The house is right in the city center, in the iconic neighborhood of San Lorenzo famous for the Central Market where visitors can buy excellent Italian products, and the Church of San Lorenzo. There are also many great restaurants nearby. The accommodation is centrally located, just a 5 min. walk from Santa Maria Novella main railway station, to Palazzo dei Congressi (the Conference Centre) and to the Fortezza da Basso, the departure site of the bus to the airport of Peretola and bus connection to outlets THE MALL, BARBERINO, IKEA and I Gigli shopping center. The most interesting monuments and museums in Florence are within easy walking distance. The apartment is located in a new residence with a garden in common. There may be the possibility (to be confirmed) of a paying parking lot in the private garage of the residence below the apartment. Otherwise there is a private garage nearby the apartment, only 2 minutes on foot. If the booking is for 2 people but the guests wish to sleep separately (one in the bedroom and one in the sofa bed) there is a cost of only 5 euro more for the entire stay. By resolution of the City Council No. 33 of 20/06/2011, the City of Florence requires a tax of EUR 1.50 per person per night stay, for a maximum of 7 days. The city tax must be paid in cash on arrival.

Charming Renaissance Apartment near Train Station

The guests have fully access to the whole apartment, including one master bedroom, two bathrooms, a big living room with a kitchen area and an open balcony. The guests can contact us either by Airbnb message, by text message or by email. The neighborhood and the area where is located the property is very livable and at the same time safe. It is also very close to the train station of Florence and that's why it is common that our guests approach the apartment using the train service. The flat is located in the central area of town, 10 minutes walking distant from the heart of the city.
