This is a lovely and welcoming apartment with a patio in the center of Florence, 2 + 2 beds, and is newly renovated. It is located on the ground floor (no stairs) of a characteristic building in the district of Santa Croce, in the heart of the historic center. It was renovated by the owner, an architect with twenty years of experience, who wanted to preserve and enhance the features and characteristics typical of an ancient Florentine house: wooden beams, antique portico with stone column and brick arches. It consists of an entrance hall, a living room with dining area and relaxation area, a sofa bed, a sleeping area with a French double bed and separated by curtains, a private courtyard with a fountain, and a bathroom with a shower. The apartment gets great sunlight and is very quiet because it overlooks the private courtyard. It is warm in winter and cool in summer and equipped with every comfort: independent heating, air conditioning, free wifi internet access, books, magazines, tourist guides in Italian, English, French, German, and maps. There is a fully equipped kitchen, including coffee, oil, salt, sugar, and a large selection of teas. Dishwasher and washing machine. Because the apartment is located in the heart of Florence where only Florentine residents are permitted to park, it is necessary to leave your car in one of the parking garages near the apartment (fee €. 20-25/day). You can easily walk to every place of artistic and cultural interest. If you arrive by train, you can walk or reach me directly by bus. If you arrive by plane you can take a taxi directly to my front door. This district is the most charming of the city and the street is quiet and peaceful. A beautiful fully furnished apartment on the second floor of an ancient Neapolitan building from 1891 with an elevator. Spacious, bright and with very high ceilings, windows and balcony overlooking one of the most vibrant and authentic areas of the center. A large bedroom with a king-size bed and a Memorex mattress, a wardrobe and desk, a bright living area with a sofa, a kitchen with everything you need to immerse yourself in the Neapolitan culinary tradition, and a bathroom with a shower. The entire apartment is available for guests and covered by free high-speed Wi-Fi internet. We love to entertain, help to discover the city, and make friends with solar, friendly, warm-hearted, travelers (not tourists), who love their life and who are as flexible as needed to truly experience Naples, a little less we love to host rigid and uncompromising people, perfection maniacs or stressed tourists who think they're booking a hotel at low price. For that matter, we strongly advise those kind of tourists against the imperfection of Naples and its culture. Characteristic and authentic area in the middle of two of the oldest areas of Naples, surrounded by markets, shops, restaurants and services of all kinds and a stone's throw from transport, museums and monuments. Real daily life in Naples, far from stereotypes and scenes built especially for tourists who only look for the same city in every place. Undoubtedly a hectic place (beware of you, delicate ears seeking peace), but totally worth living in. And loved. Most of the things you may wish to see or have are at hand, right around your home at a max a 15-20 minutes walk. You are surrounded by all kinds of shops and popular markets where you can buy anything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Bus stops and taxi areas are a few meters from home, the train station is a 10-minute walk away, and both the airport and port are 20 minutes by car or public transport. As for art and monuments, you got it yet! All around you have beautiful architectures, both old and new, the Botanical Garden is a few steps from home and the Greek and Roman Part of Naples is a 15-minute walk from the National Archaeological Museum, the Madre Contemporary Museum and a lot more. Also with the Metro lines and Circumvesuviana (both accessible inside the train station) you can reach almost any part of the city quickly or start your trip to Pompeii, Vesuvius or Sorrento, just to name a few common destinations. The whole center of Naples, without particular exceptions, is a very active and frenetic place (we are also known for this :D). Popular excitement is an intrinsic and characteristic part of Neapolitan culture, an eternal living theater. For almost all tourists, this reality represents part of the beauty they want to dive into when visiting Naples, but of course everyone is different, has their own history and habits. If you come from very quiet and peaceful areas, you know you are intolerant to chaos, your sleep is so light that even the ticking of a clock can be a problem, we suggest you opt for more residential areas outside the center such as the Vomero, Fuorigrotta or Posillipo area. But in this case, know that you'll be missing the best:)

In the flat there is plenty of space for your smart-workstation: internet is fast and reliable, accessible from every corner. We take particular care in sanitizing all the critical areas, in particular the space is sanitized by means of ozone generators. The apartment is newly restyled with a very special taste, mixing different styles in the architecture and design. It is a 2 floors apartment at the last floor of a mid 20th century building right outside the historical city center: at the first floor there are the bedrooms (a Suite and a second bedroom) the bathroom and a wardrobe room. The Suite is introduced by an elegant living area with a separè industry in glass and iron dividing it from the double bedroom with balcony and fireplace. The second bedroom has a big wardrobe with mirrors, a fine couch and twin beds to be disposed at one's will. Through an elegant white marble staircase we have access to the brand new rooftop kitchen and the wide terrace with a view on the hills sorrounding Florence and spots of the old buildings of the historic center. The apartment is entirely reserved to our guests, access to it is by the staircase or by elevator with private access to the floor. The rooftop terrace is only for our guests with sole access from inside the apartment by a staircase. At the same floor in a separate flat live the owners, always ready to help! The owner lives next door and is always available if needed. Chez Geraldine is an apartment just outside the historical center. It’s predominantly a residential district, but the cathedral, Galleria dell'Accademia, and Piazza San Marco are a 15-minute walk away. Food stores, restaurants, and bars are close by. AVAILABLE 4 BIKES (adult size) for our guests, included in the price. Please, use it with care and lock it well each and any time you leave them without custody, thank you.
