This place was perfect for us, as a family gathering in Hamburg, where we could spend time in the garden and dinner table, rather than have to use a restaurant. If that's what you're looking for, I can recommend this: it's not the cheapest property, but if you have 6+ guests, you can make up for that by cooking and eating in. and the house is in a nice, quiet area of Bergedorf. Vivian was easy to communicate with. The house was clean and matched the description. There is a first floor bedroom and bathroom suitable for elderly guests, and plenty of room upstairs to spread out. The kitchen had supplies (e.g. cooking herbs and spices) ready for us. There's a dining room table large enough for eight guests. The garden is peaceful and has seating for everyone. Yes, it's a lived-in home, which means there are a few minor inconveniences. Minor -- imagine you rented out your own home, there would be quirks that you've learned to live with. Same here. Overall, Vivian keeps a great property.

The cute cottage delivers everything it promises! The great garden with terrace, fireplace and the feathered roommates is the best condition for social evenings and a quiet break. Thank you Selma for your warm welcome and uncomplicated handling! Everything is great, gladly recommended.

Stefans place is great. Accommodation is very large and private and very peaceful clean and well equipped . The home has everything you need for long and short stay and it's lovely to be able to sit out in garden and relax in the evening. The property is 2 minutes drive to groceries stores and resturants and great location for anyone who does not want to be in the center of Hamburg but easy to reach in 23 minutes by car and local train and bus also available near by . Stefan is always available and very friendly and you need anything he always responds fast. I definitely recommend Stefans property and it feels like being at home away from home and really beautiful home. Thank Stefan for everything Will definitely come back again if in Hamburg.

A special place to stay! The house is beautiful and modern, with many technological gadgets that make the stay extra comfortable. The pool and trampoline are absolutely gold for children and adults alike. Inga, the friendly host, is very helpful and always ready to answer questions, even after an extensive tour. It is also nice to know that she is staying on the same property, only 25 meters away, which offers extra reassurance. Please note that (during the period we stayed here) there were a lot of mosquitoes and wasps. The house is of course located directly on the forest. This is good to know for future guests. All in all a great experience and a place I would definitely recommend for 2 adults with kids!

Great house and a great host. It’s a bit of a drive to the city center but worth it for the space and the quiet. Great house for kids as well. My only tiny tiny complaint is that the stairs were a bit steep and with small children that was a challenge and I wish there were a safety guard on site. Everything else was beyond expectations!

We had a great week at a family reunion in Hamburg, with plenty of room for everyone. The furnishings of the accommodation have a nice style and the house nicely located in Blankenese, with a 10-minute walk to the nearest S-Bahn (suburban train). Thank you to the host for the reception.

Very nice and very quiet house in the neighborhood of a riding club. Well equipped with all the things you need. The screens on important windows are very convenient. Thanks to Sascha and Anita for the good communication! Worpswede and its surroundings are definitely worth a trip. Our tip: rent bikes.

We had a wonderful stay for two with our dog! The apartment is very tastefully furnished, clean and offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The surroundings are quiet, ideal for switching off – our dog also felt immediately comfortable. A small note: the bed is quite low which may be unusual for some, and upon our arrival the heating was off so we had to wait a bit until it was pleasantly warm. But that was quickly forgotten as soon as it got cozy. Overall a great place to stay that we are happy to recommend – decorated with a lot of love for detail and perfect for a few relaxing days. I am so glad that I picked Christian's place after looking through a few airbnb listings. The house had all the amenities that were listed and we felt so at home since our first day. Christian was always responsive and willing to help us out when we requested for certain appliances. His place was also in a beautiful quiet spot where you can enjoy the stars at night and watch the trains go by. There is also a river behind the house where my friends and I frequent for our runs. The place was overall very clean and well furnished. I personally found the bed really comfortable and most rooms are equipped with sinks which are really helpful. There is also a dedicated laundry room where you can conveniently wash and dry your clothes without a fuss. The living room was so entertaining for us and our guests when we invited them over. Everyone found the place really cosy, fun and worth the price. Thank you once again Christian and Family for being great hosts to us during our one month stay!!

Lovely old mansion home. 2 good large bathrooms, good large bedrooms with good mattresses as well as duvets/pillows. Despite visible rental wear, the house appears clean and tidy. A lovely home close to public transport train/bus within 5 minutes. Will definitely rent this place again

The house was in a very quiet and beautiful location next street over was a strip full of restaurants, convenient stores, and just site seeing. first time doing public transportation although a little confusing the house was near the station so not a long walk. The pictures shows no justice the house is beautiful. we did spot some Camaras inside the house and took many mirrors but it did not bother us. Great Birthday Weekend. Thank you!
