Possibility to borrow a boat. 25-30 minutes by car to Vimmerby, Astrid Lindgren's World and Bullerbyn. 35 minutes to Eksjö wooden town, about 12 km to Mariannelund. (nearest grocery store) Emils Katthult about 6 km. Among other things, two national parks, (Kvill and Skurugata), nearby with nice walking paths. Flea markets. Lovely nature outside the house for forest excursions or swimming and fishing.

This newly renovated cozy cottage is in the middle of the forest on the Småland highlands. The cottage is close to hiking trails and lakes and by car close to the unique wooden town of Eksjö, the elk park in Skullaryd and Skurugata. If you want to go on a day trip, it is an hour to Astrid Lindgren's World. All rooms in the cottage are newly renovated with care to preserve the feeling of this soldier's cottage from the 1700s. There are 4 beds and a sofa bed. Fishing opportunities are available as you have access to a boat about 1.5 km from the cottage.

Stay in our cozy guest house with its own garden. Close to, among other things, Astrid Lindgren's World (20 km), Katthult and Bullerbyn. In Mariannelund there is also Filmbyn Småland, Karamellkokeriet, Ica, nice natural areas with lakes, etc. The house consists of a large combined kitchen and living room, two bedrooms (a total of 7 beds + a sofa bed for 2 people in the living room), a toilet/shower and laundry room. Note: You clean before check-out (unless otherwise agreed) and bring your own towels and sheets

Beautiful view over the lake Skedesjön, or if you prefer the lake view when using our boat. Varmt välkommen till Havik i närheten av Eksjö, Småland! Härligt lantlig miljö med stugan precis in till sjön, med egen brygga. Det stora trädäcket har sol från tidig morgon till kvällen. Njut av underbar vy över Skedesjön eller om du hellre föredrar att ta en tur med båten.

Welcome to Älmesås! You will stay in your own little house on our farm. Within ten swedish miles you will reach Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Kosta Boda, High Chaparall among other nice places. You will stay in a very calm and quiet environment. If you take a walk, perhaps you will meet our nice Highland Cattles. You also can spend some time together with our bunny , four cats and the goats Iris, Diesel and texas. Perhaps you can get eggs from the chickens. The rooster Charlie says "Good morning"!

Cottage Uddebo, private beach and garden

Uddebo ligger precis vid Rosjön och endast 10 km norr om den vackra trästaden Eksjö. Huset ligger på en udde ute i sjön och har ett unikt sjöläge med sjöutsikt från alla delar av huset. Från vardagsrummet och sovrummet kommer du ut på ett trädäck med trappa ner till trädgården och bryggan. Det är ett naturskönt och ostört läge med hus i närheten men inte precis bredvid. Närheten till riksväg 32 gör det enkelt att ta sig hit. Vägen hörs, men för de allra flesta upplevs det inte som störande.

Welcome to our charming house, perfect for a relaxing family vacation. Located just a short 10-minute walk from the city center, you can enjoy the unique wooden town with its picturesque streets and historic buildings. Our garden is an oasis of peace and quiet. Lie in the hammock while the children play in the playhouse, or why not grill a salmon package and enjoy a nice home dinner on the wooden deck. There is plenty of room for the whole family to socialize and create memories together.

In 2020, we renovated the kitchen, entrance hall and laundry room and also built a brand new bathroom on the ground floor. There is proximity to the lake with boat and swimming. Warm welcome!

The accommodation is 90 sqm and sleeps 6+2 guests. Enjoy fast fiber internet with Wi-Fi. Explore Astrid Lindgren's World, just 15 km away, and create memories for both children and adults. During your stay, you can charge your car on site for a fee.

The farmhouse in Mariannelund

Welcome to Drängstugan! A charming, tastefully renovated house with a lot of space, in the middle of the Småland forest, 7 km from Mariannelund. Similar to the farmhouse Emil's friend Alfred lived in, but much more modern inside 😁 It is a large leafy plot that is shared with the host's house. Nice to just enjoy the house, sit by the patio or walk in the forest. A bit away along the gravel road, you have magnificent views.
