The lake of Uri is only a few minutes away and it provides refreshing dips during hot summer days and beautiful walks at any point. Uri is the perfect spot to do any kind of outdoor activity. From windsurfing, swimming, biking to hiking, skiing and ski touring, the region has a lot to offer and you will for sure never get tired of it.

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The house itself is almost radiation-free, there is no mobile network and no Wi-Fi. But there is an internet connection via cable for laptops and mobile phones.

The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace. We offer a small but lovingly furnished accommodation for families with max. 2 adults and 2 children or a couple. One double bedroom and a bunk bed, a private toilet/shower and a small tea kitchen with accessories. Located in central Switzerland on a farm with unique views. In 5-10 minutes by car, you are at great starting points for various activities. Arrival is only possible by car. There is no public transport connection.

Cozy studio on the first floor, in Appenzellerland

The cozily furnished studio (first floor) is located at 800 meters above sea level in a quiet residential area. From the sunny seating area you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Alpstein (Säntis). A grill bowl is available there. The bus or Appenzellerbahn train can be reached within a 10-minute walk. Within 10 km there are various leisure facilities (mini golf, swimming pools, hiking, skiing, biking).
