We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at Christel’s place; she and her husband are very kind people; they responded quickly to all our requests and were very helpful. The apartment is comfortable, clean and nicely furnished. We enjoyed the quietness of the area. It is definitely a place we are recommending!

We had a wonderful stay at Margriet’s place. Everything was just as described — clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The apartment had a warm and welcoming feel to it, and we really appreciated the personal touches: Margriet had prepared fresh strawberries, a bottle of Prosecco, and a few local treats for us — such a kind gesture that made us feel at home right away. We really enjoyed spending time on the water — using the SUPs and kayaks was definitely one of the highlights. The area is calm and relaxing, a great spot to take a break from the everyday. One thing to be aware of: you can’t park directly at the accommodation, so you’ll need to carry your things a short distance. But there are pull carts available, which help a lot — and it’s absolutely manageable. Communication with Margriet was easy and pleasant throughout. We had a great time and would definitely come back. Thanks again for everything!

Niko’s Garden house is a very special place to stay in the residential area close to centre of Groningen. It is surrounded by blocks of houses, still provides an island of peace and real retreat after heavy day of sightseeing, walking… Niko was very helpful and supportive during our visit, and we would highly recommend his house to travelers who prefer an authentic accommodation experience as an alternative to hotel room.
