Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. One minute from the bus station in Edam. 20 minutes from city center Amsterdam, in a safe, causy, quite and child-friendly neighbourhood. Also a 100 mteres from the known Edam cheese markets. From here: visit most of the Netherlands within 2 hours drive. Perfect for a family with one or two children. You will be renting the whole house, with garden. Bathtub in a fully niew bathroom ! Park cottage on the meadows and the Markermeer

Ons zelf ontworpen vakantiehuisje met 2 slaapkamers ligt op 45 minuten rijden van Amsterdam, midden in de velden. Gelegen op een kleinschalig particulier parkje waar wij ook nog een ander vakantiehuisje verhuren, genaamd; Familie Buitenhuys. Vanuit de woning kijk je uit over de velden en dijk aan het Markermeer: ​​Nederland in zijn puurste vorm! De woning is gericht op comfort (er is vloerverwarming) maar met leuke, eigenzinnige details en een speelse indeling. Maximaal 4 personen + baby.

On the second floor of a rebuilt traditional Waterland house is this beautifully renovated apartment, once used as a hayloft. Located in the protected natural area of the Zeevang polder land (EU Natura 2000), famous for its birds like godwits, spoonbills, and lapwings. The view it offers is among the most beautiful in the Netherlands. Middelie is very near Amsterdam (25 km). Other historical places like Edam, Volendam, Marken, Hoorn, and Alkmaar are never far away (5–30 min. by car).

On the edge of the nature reserve "Varkensland", less than 15 minutes from Amsterdam, you will find our completely renovated guest house. A sunny two-story house overlooking the garden and the water. From this oasis of peace and quiet, you can discover this beautiful region, with historic towns such as Monnickendam and Marken. Amsterdam is also literally around the corner. The bus ride to Amsterdam takes 10 minutes. The bus leaves every 5 minutes from the nearest bus stop.

It’s decorated with modern art and vintage details. From the studio you will step out on your private terrace. Studio offers free coffee and tea as well as free WiFi. Breakfast is available upon request (€12,50 per person). Situated 25 minutes from Amsterdam. Please note the studio is best accessible by car.

Charming fisherman's cottage

In the oldest part of the famous fishing village Volendam, you’ll find this charming cottage. The oldest part was built in 1890. The 19th century styled living room gives a cozy (or as the Dutch say "gezellig") feel to your stay. There is WIFI in the cottage. The cottage is ideal for two people, but there is ample space for a third person (adult or 2 children when max. age of 6), to sleep in a typically Dutch 'bedstee' on the ground floor.
