Life is better on the summit! 1 mile from the entrance to Sierra at Tahoe Ski Resort. Sitting on an acre of natural meadow and marsh land, the property includes the American River headwaters. Enjoy our remodeled interior w/ fireplace and rear deck with hot tub & fire pit. In the winter, we get a lot more snow than in the basin. Typically 15 min to the Y and 25 min to Stateline. Note the cabin is *on* Hwy 50 (some road noise) and is not "in town". This gets you closer to Sac and Sierra at Tahoe.

This is an ideal romantic vacation spot for couples. It is located in a quiet, serene neighborhood and has a large deck to enjoy. There is usually snow in winter. This is a kid friendly property with a pack-n-play, booster seat, and a play kitchen area in the downstairs. This Airbnb was the perfect South Lake Tahoe getaway. The place was cute, cozy, and welcoming! It’s tucked away in a peaceful area but still super close to the lake, trails, and great restaurants. My favorite part was the gorgeous trail that is right next door and the outdoor yard! Our pup had the best time exploring the area with us and felt right at home. The place was spotless, well-stocked, (even with snacks and treats!) and beautifully decorated with thoughtful, homey touches. Nicole was so kind and welcoming to us. We can’t wait to come back.

The home was very comfortable and provided a great place for us to stay while we explored the area. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and added extras like the Keurig coffee maker and air fryer. There was extra bedding if needed, and a fan that provided a nice white noise for sleeping. The home was easy to find even with a late night arrival and was right off of a main road for easy access. We were also able to see our first mama bear with two cubs right down the road!!!

Nele and Brad’s place was perfect for us-not in the center of everything “Lake Tahoe” but a bit removed and still offering grocery, restaurants, coffee shops, and easy access to activities while also offering desired quiet and privacy. We were there in the spring but it would also be a great spot in the winter to ski the various resorts. The house itself was clean and comfortable, the beds were great, the kitchen and dining area well appointed and perfect, and having three bathrooms was a bonus. This beautiful home is in a private residential neighborhood so you need to be respectful of the neighbors and the community in which it sets. It is perfect for a family with younger kids or older couples visiting the area. It is definitely not an active “party” spot and does not offer any “nightlife activities” for those seeking that type of getaway. However it checked all of the boxes for us and easily deserves the 5/5 star review. Appreciated extras include coffee, popcorn, tissues, spices.

This was the perfect location for a big group of people. 30 minutes to Kirkwood and very close to Sierra at Tahoe. Its also close in proximity to South lake Tahoe and far enough from the hustle and bustle to enjoy the nature. Would definitely be visiting again.
