Holiday rentals with lake access in Eastern Shore of Virginia

We usually stay during the winter (which is so peaceful and beautiful) but were thrilled to have a chance to stay during some warm weather during the kids spring break. We were able to fish, catch some crabs, kayak, enjoy walks and play on the "beach". We had a blast and are so grateful for the beautiful weather and peaceful retreat. Thank you for sharing your bit of paradise with us!

Samantha was wonderful and the house and location is really perfect. its setting is so nice and quiet, and the house is set up perfect for a family with a great game room upstairs and tons of games. We spent thanksgiving there with our family and the house had everything you could need for cooking for sure. It was perfect. We look forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors more. Waking up every day and going out on the dock to feed the three swans was really cool. We'll be back.

Excellent stay at RivahLife! The views were spectacular and the home was exactly as described. Easy to find with lots of stuff for the kids and adults. Looking forward to returning during the warmer months as the fishing, boating, and swimming would be more desirable. Thanks for the high chair and portable crib. Those things really help when traveling with kids.

We took a small vacation with my sister’s family and we loved the location. Our kids enjoyed the small play area in the basement with the arcade machine and foosball table. We cooked every night and they had all useful appliances. We used the Ninja air fryer and Keurig machine every day. Since we went in January after a snowstorm the road was a little hazardous to use and the lake was completely frozen, so we spent most times indoors. We did enjoy going to the dock and looking at the frozen lake. This will be a great place to visit during the summer, they had Kayaks to use and a nice dock to jump from and fish. We would definitely come back.

Relaxing, well-kept property and house with a view. Plenty of good food in next town over. If you haven't been to Northern Neck, stay here and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Responsive even before I booked. As pictured. Accommodated 5 of us very comfortably. Friends stayed one half block up I liked our place much better!

Erin's place fit the 6 of us, plus our dog, very comfortably, and it was great being on the water and in a quiet neighborhood. Erin was a very responsive host and was quick to address any questions and issues that we had.

The place was better than we even imaged! We had such a wonderful vacation. So much space and in an excellent location. Everyone was very helpful and check in was easy. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and clean. Everything was as described. Beds were so comfy had a great sleep. Perfect for couples or families. This unit allows for privacy since the primary suite is on the 3rd level and the other 2 rooms are on the second level. Very convenient that each bedroom has a bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need . We brought our bikes with us, we were not concerned at all with leaving them in the parking garage. Very safe area. We definitely recommend for your next stay in Ocean City.

Our stay was lovely! The property is quiet and peaceful. The apartment is right above the roosters so we could hear them crow every morning, but it didn't bother us. The parking is a bit of a walk from the apartment, but everything was clearly labeled and easy to find. The kitchen had basic pots and pans, plates and bowls, and utensils. But did not have things like cooking oil, salt/pepper, etc. It didn't hinder our stay, but these are mentioned in the listing, so it was noted. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Our stay was absolutely perfect, 10 out of 10 would highly recommend! Host was super responsive, super helpful, and super friendly, a wonderful stay! The place was warm, inviting, and quiet!

Charming Cape Charles getaway! I was so happy to find this gem and even more thrilled when I arrived. From the beautiful landscape of the gated community, to the southern charm of this glorious suite…I wanted for nothing. This enormous suite has all the comforts of home and the location was spectacular. The property offered not only a private beach on the bay , a community pool, a beautiful well maintained golf course, it was also a short drive to the charming town of Cape Charles. Dawn offered endless advice to her favorite restaurants, activities to do and places to see while we visited. She was just a text or call away if I needed anything. Her hospitality was beyond measure. I look forward to coming back.

Zenbeachy (great name) was everything that was described and more. Clean, inviting, and stocked with plenty of extra clean linen/blankets, towels, toiletries, snacks, beverages, etc. June really goes above and beyond to ensure her home feels inviting to her guests. June herself is always responsive, kind, and helpful. Any questions I had were answered promptly and clearly. She was also able to recommend attractions/activities, transportation, and anything in between and clearly loves and knows Ocean City. An overall stellar experience partnered with an exceptional host!

Tom's place on the bay side was very nice. Exactly like the pictures. Beautiful view of the bay from the balcony and our lab loved laying in the sun. No problems with checking in, tv/cell reception was great, and we even walked up to local restaurant. The beach is also within walking distance. Tom responded back quickly with any questions I had. The condo was very clean and decorated with a beachy vibe. Check it out!

We stayed at Richard’s because we were getting married on the beach which is right behind the house however weather halted tht so we opted to get married right in his beautiful backyard. The first day we were there we met his father who introduced himself and let us know tht if there was anything we needed to just reach out. Richard and his Mom actually were very sweet and left us a beautiful card for our wedding, the house is gorgeous and it was very clean. There were a lot a personal touches in the house tht made it truly feel like you were home. I can’t wait to stay there again next year for our 1st year wedding anniversary.

Absolutely amazing host and home! This was our second stay at Kyli's listings and we will continue coming back. Super responsive and friendly, we felt completely comfortable and safe throughout our trip. The amount of outdoor amenities provided here made our spring break a memorable one. Would reccommend to anyone interested in having a 5 star trip!

My wife and I had an amazing time staying here! While we wanted to explore Williamsburg and Richmond, we spent half of the days there just enjoying the lake. Those were my favorite days. In all, a really great place to read, play board games, snack on food, and sit by the water.

This was our second stay with Bob and Lolly in Tall Timbers, and it did not disappoint! Immersed in books and history, this quaint cottage was the perfect getaway. We are looking forward to our next visit!

The perfect spot for our Winter getaway. A beautiful setting and a well preserved colonial era cabin, perfect for exploring such an historic part of our Country. Quaint local restaurants, friendly people and a country setting handy to the lower tidewater Virginia. The icing on the cake was the fireplace for cozy evenings reading a good book. We had a wonderful long weekend here! The house is well-equipped and David was even able to secure fishing and crabbing gear so our two kids could try to catch dinner. It is a quiet street of cottages with friendly neighbors in a gorgeous location - the view is so calming. We enjoyed exploring the local area (love the coffee shop and brewery in Montross), kayaking, swimming, and relaxing on the big screened porch. A feature here that you don’t always have at the shore is a great sandy beach! Can’t wait to come back for another getaway.

My husband and I enjoyed our second relaxing weekend away at the cottage on the creek. We were really able to relax regardless of the weather. Rain or shine, the location is stunningly beautiful and peaceful. I found the cottage to be at a higher standard of cleanliness than our last visit, too. Much appreciated! We plan to return!
