Holiday rentals with breakfast in Eastern Shore of Virginia

"The Mad Men Beach House" was a great place for my family (2 adults/2 toddlers) to stay. There was enough room for us all to have our own beds (or cribs in the case of our two year olds) and our own bathrooms (two full baths). We used the grill once, which was nice, and used the kitchen a handful of times throughout our week long stay. Everything in the house was well taken care of and as clean as you would expect, considering Rebecca allows dogs in the beach house. Our dog was comfortable in the house with plenty of room to lay around. He especially enjoyed laying around on the covered porch next to the water. That's probably the best feature of the house itself - it is in a community where every home has a dock right next to the Bay. You are a little far away from the big part of the Bay (if you're kayaking), but the inlet gets much bigger as you kayak out and there's plenty of room to float around and enjoy the sun. We were visited by a mother duck and her five ducklings, and some cool looking horseshoe crabs. The place is only a few minutes drive from the beach/oceanfront. If you have kids, I would not plan on walking to the beach unless you have a wagon or something like that. Too much lugging of stuff and humans for being almost a mile from front door to toes in the sand. However, we never had a problem finding parking on 130th/129th right next to the beach, for free. The amenities are nice - big pool and a kiddie pool, and some other stuff we didn't have time to check out. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including places for breakfast (Uber Bagels was pretty good) and dessert (Justine's Ice Cream and Dumsers are closeby, but Venderweres, I think, is only a few minutes drive to Fenwick Island and it was the best ice cream of the trip). If you want to hit the boardwalk, Fish Tales, Seacrets, etc., it isn't that far. You can get just about anywhere in Ocean City from this place in 15-20 minutes. Overall, we had a great time and we would definitely stay again!

The Perfect view was a perfect place with a perfect host. We didn't know what to expect and can say our experience exceeded our expectations. The place feels very clean. The property is well thought out - with the landscaping/garden, the seats/firepit/jacuzzi overlooking the water, and the tranquil garden fountain. We enjoyed sitting on the porch, eating special meals prepared by Brenda and enjoying the company of her pets. Nellie Mae is the ideal sweet, soft, cuddly lap dog. (We normally are big dog people :) Brenda KNOWS hospitality and couldn't have been a better host. She makes the most delicious meals - we had her dinners and breakfasts several times and were never disappointed. Suprisingly, the fold-out King bed was extremely comfortable and the room had cool temperature with A/C and fan to help us sleep soundly every night. Delightful place with delightful host - one of our top Airbnb experiences! We will certainly be back. Thank you Ms. Brenda!!

Peggy's home is open with a wonderful floor plan. Everything was convenient; such as, having coffee onsite, access to appliances, linens, and personal supplies. It is beautiful inside. We had no complaints.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at Matt and Katey’s home. They were great hosts and very responsive when we needed something. Everything in the house was exactly as described. The house was a perfect size for our group and we especially loved the back patio! The house had everything we could need and we were able to cook dinners at home each night. The grill and hot tub were really nice amenities to have. The location is so perfect - it was so close to the beach! I would definitely recommend this house for someone else to stay at.

We truly enjoyed our trip to Hope Haven Cottage. From the initial booking, everything went smoothly. Mildred & Spencer were wonderful, and assisted us in every aspect of our stay. The cottage had everything we needed and more… since Muddy Toes was closed at the time, Mildred & Spencer made sure we were stocked with all the breakfast things we would need. Coffee, half and half, muffins, eggs, all kinds of extra goodies and a welcome basket full of snacks! We loved the bikes for riding around on the island and down to the beach. The golf cart was made available as well, and we enjoyed using it for bringing some extra gear to the beach. They had it all… a beach umbrella, folding chairs, beach towels, paperback books. It was a beautiful stay. The bed was very comfortable and the whole house was charming. The kitchen was fully equipped. We didn’t lack anything at all. Mildred & Spencer communicated well, were flexible & helpful. I wholly recommend this beautiful haven on Tangier.

We had a great family visit at this house. We really enjoyed the pool and whole house was very comfortable and clean! It was nice to just hang all day by the pool or top for a sanctuary from a long day of events. Sabrina was very attentive and responsive with questions and situations, appreciate her flexibility as a host!

This home stands out among the many air B&B’s I have stayed it. Emily and Abel provided many extras such as cold water and snacks when we arrived, beach towels for our use, dog food bowls for our dog, soft beds with plush throws to use at our leisure. The neighborhood is walkable filled with southern charm. Our family used this home as a gathering place for my son’s wedding. It exceeded my expectations.

Had a great stay at Marsha’s places 0 complaints. Very friendly she made sure I had everything I needed and made sure to check up on me. Most friendly and caring host I have experienced on airbnb. Would stay again and recommend for others.

Really enjoyed staying here! Easy to find, walkable to the beach and surrounding shops, clean, and we loved the breakfast provided by the local bakery!

Jacqueline's place is amazing! It is close to the sea and you can take a walk to enjoy the beautify view. I booked this for my uncles from China to attend my wedding and Jacqueline made us feel welcomed and gave us a tour for the place. The place has everything we need and is sparklingly clean. The host is easy to reach and always respond to our question in seconds. Highly recommend this place if you want something affordable and nice in the area.

Highly recommend! Dimitri was very responsive and gave us clear instructions. Parking was great, location was minutes to the beach and restaurants. The place was very clean and comfortable! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful abnb in the heart of King George. Pam has been great with communication and understanding during a stay with my two younger children. This place beats staying at a hotel and I Would love to come back again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Decided on a quick overnight trip. Reached out and Dimitri responded within minutes. She even allowed for a late checkout. The place is exactly as described. Felt private and secure. We really wanted to wash up before we left so I reached back out to see if I could pay extra for a later checkout….since they didn’t have someone coming in that night she quickly accommodated! Worked out perfectly for us! The breakfast boxes are great as well…we even took some of those snacks to the beach with us! Super clean and the blackout shades….on point! Cute place…would stay again!

We had a great stay at The Inn at Old Beach over memorial day weekend! The location of this air bnb was ideal- it was off the busy main strip but still close enough so that you can easily walk to the beach and restaurants. The check in was smooth and easy and the hot tub was a fun addition to the stay.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast in Colonial Williamsburg. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. The host was incredibly communicative and made sure everything was smooth and stress-free. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The rest of the house was just as lovely—warm, welcoming, and tastefully furnished, with a cozy outdoor space perfect for relaxing. The innkeeper was so kind and hospitable, and the breakfasts each morning were absolutely delicious—clearly made with care and attention to detail. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and hospitality.

I stayed at Mark’s place while visiting my daughter, who’s in the Navy, and it was the perfect spot for some peaceful downtime. Even though it’s a shared home, the bedroom and bathroom felt very private and exceptionally clean. I was comfortable the entire time and slept well. The house itself is like walking into an art installation—colorful, unexpected, and full of personality. You never quite know what light or feature will come to life next, which made it fun and memorable. Both hosts are clearly creative souls with a flair for design. The backyard was my favorite part—lush with plants, fountains, and statues, all backing up to the Chesapeake waters. At night, it turns into a magical light show with just the sounds of nature and water features. So peaceful and calming. They even had a little breakfast area set up with bakery items and coffee—such a thoughtful touch. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind and restful experience.

We've had a great time. The place has a wonderful location and we've had a great time in our (brief) stay. We hope to get there for a longer visit someday soon.

Wonderful history-filled place close to everything. The room was cozy and spotlessly clean, very atmospheric and neat looking. The house in general looks very unique: just like in the 60s-inspired movies, perfectly channeling the southern charm. It is also conveniently located very close to lots of local tourist attractions, and just 15 mins away from the Boardwalk in Ocean City where we attended a music festival. The host was very friendly and helpful, attentive to detail and making sure we feel at home every moment of our stay. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.
