Holiday rentals with an accessible-height bed in Eastern Europe

The views are breathtaking. The area is perfectly walkable to almost all the big archeological sites and good food. The apartment was huge, the kitchen was perfect. The air conditioning units don’t really work effectively, it was hot without the windows open at night. There was someone playing live music and singing downstairs right outside the colosseum every night which we loved.

Arrigo’s home was in a good location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle (which we did) It was in a quiet, peaceful and clean location. Arrigo is a great host, when we arrived early he met us at the water bus stop helped us with my suitcase and walked us to his home sharing with us his love for Venice. He kept our suitcases while we walked around and explored until check in time. Once check in time came we walked back, he met us outside and walked us in. He showed us around the apartment and how to work everything. He then pulled out a huge map and marked down anything and everything from restaurants, grocery stores to must see places as well as bus lines to and from different islands. He also made a little handbook for reference of everything he went over with us it was amazing, he’s so organized and we actually referred to his handbook a few times for restaurants. He also left us with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco from Vino Vero a must try very close to Airbnb.

This beautiful & comfortable apartment comes ‘highly recommended’ from our family!!! Josip was an amazing host, very warm, gracious and welcoming!!! He met us on arrival, and gave us very comprehensive information on the area - sites to see/restaurants, etc., which proved to be ‘very’ helpful! At the end of each busy day, it felt so good to come back to our ‘home away from home’. The location is excellent (& quiet), not too far (15 minutes or so) from the Old Town, the Riva and Marjan Park. The walk along the promenade, and the views along the way were a special part of our trip. There is a cafe just a short walk away, as well as a small grocery store. We loved our stay in Josip’s apartment, and would most definitely return if we have the opportunity to come back to Split!

Genuinely the best Airbnb experience I’ve had. The amount of care and effort the hosts put into the place itself and the guest experience is exceptional. You really feel looked after by them! The place is spotless, stunning and I felt very safe and secure there as a female traveler in Rome for the first time. We loved the location and found it very easy to get into the city for our sightseeing. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Such a unique place to stay in Venice, this home was right on a canal and we watched gondolas and boats drive by and people waved at us. Excellent host and the area was clean, safe and walkable to all.

Ein tolles altes Bauerhaus, mit viel Platz für unsere ganze Großfamilie mit 8 Erwachsenen und 6 Kindern (hatten es für ein Familientreffen gebucht). Es ist ruhig gelegen und von viel Wald und Grün umgeben. Die Gastgeber sind äußerst herzlich, hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Es war einfach ankommen und wohlfühlen. Wir wurden sogar zu einer Familienfeier eingeladen! Die Kinder haben auf dem ausgedehnten Grundstück viel Platz zum Spielen und Entdecken. Highlights waren das große Trampolin, die Scheune mit den lang schwingenden Schaukeln, die Pferde und Hunde das viele Spielzeug und natürlich der Bach, der auf Grund des schönen Wetters ausgiebig zum Baden und Planschen genutzt wurde, während die Eltern in den Hängematten relaxen konnten. Der separate Grillplatz bietet genug Plätze für alle und ist durch ein Fenster zur Küche ideal gelegen. Es gibt einfach nichts zu bemängeln und wir möchten uns noch einmal ganz herzlich bei den Gastgebern für die schöne, erholsame Zeit bedanken.

My wife and I stayed at Isabella's place for 3 days. It was perfectly situated in Mestre, which is a mainland city in Venice. just a 30 minute bus ride from the Grand Canal. public transportation was very convenient. The main bus stop was 20 m away from the entrance of our apartment. you get to the center of town in 10 minutes. another 10-15 minutes you're at the canals. If you're using public transportation I recommend that you download the Moovit app. it was a lifesaver for us. gives you all of the bus and train and tram information with a real-time digital updates. Isabella was lovely very responsive. very helpful giving instructions about how to travel and where to go.. We would definitely rent our apartment again the next time we're in town.

Posto bellissimo, famiglia stupenda. Ci siamo fermati io e mio papà, solo una notte per dormire per poi, il giorno dopo partire presto, e comunque abbiamo incontrato Roberto e suo figlio e son persone d'oro. Sono stati molto chiari nel dare indicazioni per come arrivare alla casa in campagna ed inoltre sono stati gentilissimi e disponibili ad ogni richiesta. Conoscono bene la zona, e nel caso si voglia visitare Ancona e i suoi dintorni, sanno consigliare i posti migliori. La casa è pulita ed ordinata, e la zona è molto bella dal punto di vista estetico un luogo perfetto per rilassarsi (abbiamo perfino visto le lucciole). Se si deve alloggiare in un posto vicino ad Ancona questo è il migliore!

Vielen Dank es hat wirklich sehr gut gefallen, insbesondere der Whirlpool auf der Dachterrasse mit Blick auf den kleinen Hafen und der Sonnenuntergang waren einfach traumhaft. Eine gelungene Auszeit.

Wir hatten traumhafte 2 Wochen mit unseren beiden Kindern in Carinas Haus. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sofort zum Wohlfühlen. In der Gegend kann man viel unternehmen. Diverse Flyer liegen in der Unterkunft bereit und sogar an eine Willkommens-Mappe mit allen wichtigen Infos würde gedacht. Auch mit den direkten Nachbarn haben wir uns sehr gut verstanden. Wir würden sehr gern wieder unseren Urlaub hier verbringen 😊

Alessandro is an excellent host - friendly, a good communicator with plenty of local tips. The apartment was wonderful - the air con was much needed and he thoughtfully provided water, juice and everything we needed for breakfast. Would totally recommend!

Es war ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir waren zu dritt, zwei Erwachsene und ein zweijähriges Kind. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral, nah am Wasser und Park, dennoch ruhig. Nur 10 - 15 Minuten zum Tivoli und generell in die Innenstadt. Sehr gut ausgestattet. Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine, Toaster uvm. Auch die Möglichkeit sein Auto sicher in der zugehörigen Tiefgarage abzustellen ist super. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Great location and very comfortable bed. Walking distance to everything in old town. Room was lovely and cool (amazing aircon) and terrace had a beautiful view. We were allowed to check in early and Nikola was very responsive and helpful with recommendations. Would stay again!

The studio looks great, just as the pictures described it, the location is amazing, and despite it being very central the noise wasn’t bad at all, you could hear some laughter here and there but that s about it. Everything was clean and the check in process very well explained. There is a Nespresso machine, however, I think it would be a nice touch to add maybe 2 coffee pods so the guests can have them available on spot when they get there. The water and the snack was very much appreciated!

The place was great! Was in a quiet neighborhood but also very conveniently located near the metro station. Petr was very helpful and kind as well.

Very cute place right in the middle of old town. Was worried about noise but the windows block it from the street! Would stay again!

Sabrina was an amazing host! She greeted us at the door when we arrived and made us feel instantly welcome. We stayed for 5 nights and had an incredible experience. The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and located in a safe, beautiful area. Everything we needed was within walking distance, including great restaurants and the metro. Sabrina was extremely responsive, always replying within two minutes whenever we had a question. On our last night, we enjoyed a bottle of wine on the peaceful terrace, which was the perfect way to end our stay. This Airbnb far exceeded our expectations. Sabrina is by far the best host I’ve ever had, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Watersdoor is the perfect romantic hideaway in this beautiful city. Maria and her team could not have been more welcoming and helpful and truly made our stay in Venice so effortless and memorable. We can’t recommend Watersdoor highly enough

Amazing experience in Rome. The AirB&B is in a prime location—a 5 minute walk to the Piazza Navona. The street the AirB&B is located on is bustling with restaurants, shops, and nightlife. Everything is walkable and the location puts you right in the heart of Rome. If you want an authentic, walkable Rome experience I would 10/10 recommend Marcella's place!
