Monthly Rentals in Easter Elchies

Great place with beautiful views, thanks again to Mark, Kate and the family for being so helpful and welcoming, we would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone staying in the area. (Also thanks to the ducks for the eggs in the morning 😁)

We had a great time staying at Karen’s place for the Speyside Whisky Fesitval as it was across the road from GlenAllachie and a short walk into Aberlour. Fairly central to most of the surrounding distilleries which made them easy to get to and from with our taxi service. The house was all we needed as a place to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

Fabulous visit to this recently renovated cosy lodge. It was warm, with a very comfortable king bed, and a super bathroom. We loved the log burner too! You can be drinking your morning coffee on a bench by the Spey River just a 90 second walk away. We walked 10 minutes down the road to the Walker shortbread factory shop and the other way to the Aberlour whisky tasting room (beautiful panelled room in the gate lodge). What we loved best was the variety of beautiful walks and cycle routes, the range of eateries and shops (The Larder is wonderful!!) in Aberlour and the friendliness of the community. There are so many other attractions for day visits nearby, and the bus stops right outside to Elgin and Aviemore.

Had a great stay at the whisky hideaway, the place was very warm and cosy. I did not communicate much with Michelle, but didn't need to as the place had everything I needed (and a little extra too!)
