Wonderful caravan, with everything we needed. Beautfiul scenery looking out over a field with cows and calves in. Location was ideal for our family to explore the area. The kids climbed their first munro, they loved the local pump track and woods and had an amazing day at Landmark!

Kate was a perfect host, there for any questions about the local area, but then leaves you to it. We did a long local hike, based on Kate’s recommendation, which took in truly breathtaking scenery. And the best thing was then getting into the hot tub surrounded by trees at the end of the day to soothe those aching legs! A really lovely stay.

We stayed here over the Easter holidays with our 2 children, the house and surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, so peaceful and the children loved exploring, the house is within driving distance to Aviemore, Rothiemurchus, highland safari, Cairngorm mountain railway, loch Morlich beach where we could rent row boats and canoes, then to be able to come back to a beautiful peaceful house. We will definitely come back again and again, thank you for a wonderful base to make our trip so special.

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in! Even more charming and cozy than the photos suggest. We truly didn’t want to leave this enchanting little haven. John is a wonderful host, the kind of soul who feels like a gentle wizard welcoming you into his warm and whimsical lair, brimming with curiosities, love, and quiet magic. The home itself has the charm of an old storybook cottage, full of character, yet everything was clean, beautiful, and thoughtfully modern: from the easy-to-use fireplace to every cozy corner. If I could give it 100 stars, I would. We’ll definitely be back to bask in its glow again. Thank you, John, for sharing the magic!
