The cottage is well insulated and suitable year-round.

Enjoy a wonderful vacation in our cozy cottage just 400 meters from Dronningmølle beach, which is a wonderful long, family-friendly beach. On the house's 70 m2 wooden terrace, there is sun from morning to evening. The garden is enclosed and private and has a lovely lawn with space for garden badminton or table tennis. The house is ideally located between the coastal towns of Hornbæk and Gilleleje, which offer cozy restaurants, cafes, food market, shops, ice cream stalls, mini golf, fish shops at the harbor and much more.

Inside, the decor is spread over 55 sqm and here you can expect a newer kitchen from 2021, bathroom from 2024 and a cozy living room. There are 2 identical bedrooms, both of which have a double bed (160cm). Outside, you can enjoy the day on the 85 sqm wooden terrace, which was built in 2024. Welcome to our cottage in Orups/Gamlehus! Our half-timbered thatched cottage is part of the former stable of our 18th century renovated farmhouse in the small but charming village of Domsten on the Sound between Denmark and Sweden. The beach is a short 2 minutes walk away; the marina 5 minutes. Domsten is an excellent base from which to explore South-West Sweden and North East Denmark (a 20-minute ferry ride away). Excellent opportunities for cycling, hiking and other outdoor activities.
