Sunset Shores is an absolute gem. From the moment we stepped inside, we knew we had found something special. The home is beautifully updated with a clean, modern design that still manages to feel incredibly cozy and welcoming. Every detail has been so thoughtfully considered — it’s clear that Sarah, the hosts, take great pride in offering an exceptional guest experience. The location was absolutely beautiful. Nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood but right on the Mississippi River, it offered the perfect balance of privacy and natural beauty. It was truly lovely to sit out on the deck or in the three-season porch and watch the river go by. The calming sound of the water and the serene surroundings made it easy to relax and unwind. I do not have enough space here to write everything I want about how wonderful this home was but I will just say Sarah the host was amazing to work with the houses and location are beautiful and I look very much forward to a future stay here.

Worked great for our family with 2 littles. Neighborhood seemed safe and was centrally-located to easily get to other areas of the Cities for our adventures. House was perfect - clean, comfortable and styled amazingly. Would be perfect for a long-term rental too! We appreciated all of the cozy details and clean ingredient/environmentally friendly products stocked throughout the space. Katie was very kind and helpful. Would highly recommend!

wonderful stay! The house was in great condition and perfect for the needs of our family. We appreciated the pack and play and high chair available. the neighborhood is wonderful and we enjoyed walking to Lake Harriet most days. Only downside is there is no yard, but we were able to spend our time walking to the lake pavilion or a local park which kept our toddler occupied.

great place felt right at home. great communication. beds and couch was very comfortable. loved the hot tub, swing and patio furniture. would stay again.

As described the place was very close to "Eat Street" with a multitude of choices for dining. Glam Doll Donuts and The Copper Hen were both great for breakfast options. There is a huge record store called Cheapo Records near by, as well, which was fun to explore after visiting Paisley Park. I did enjoy relaxing in the hot tub especially when there was a nip in the air. There were lots of amenities (MIA, Walker Art Center, shopping) within walking distance and a short ride to the ballpark and St. Paul. It was nice too that the sleeping area had its own level. The hosts were very responsive and made sure I had everything I needed.

We had an amazing stay! The home was exactly as described—clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The host was friendly, responsive, and provided helpful local tips that really enhanced our trip. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, home away from home!

we had an unfortunate event happen but thankfully the neighbors and hosts were quick to help and help us solve our issue. great location, conveniently right between all the stadiums. deep bathtub with lots of hot water! comfortable bed with good pillows! coffee, pop, water and oatmeal provided!

Colin’s place was fantastic! Clear, helpful communication — especially appreciated his tips for navigating road construction. Parking was perfect, and the secure gate and keypads made arrival super easy. I knew I’d love the space the moment I walked in: soft classical music, a warm lamp glow, spotless and fully stocked. The decor is clever, eclectic, and fun! I stayed three quiet, comfortable nights, waking to spring birds each morning. The location is unbeatable — steps from Eat Street, close to MIA, and minutes from my conference at the Hilton. I’m already planning to return!

I would like to give this apartment a 5 for the clean, pleasant environment inside and out and good host communication. However, it was not quite as well equipped as I typically find in an airbnb and therefore a 4 for value.

Really cozy place to stay in a great location! Definitely would return. Being able to park off of the street was a huge plus, and the provided coffee and snacks were a very nice touch that made us feel like we were at "home" away from home.

This place was exactly what we needed. Super responsive hosts (within 10 min every time!). We felt right at home. Fast WiFi for work, beautiful and great location for restaurants, bike paths and even some clubs near by. We were very happy with our stay. Can’t wait to stay again.

My husband and parents and I were in town for the weekend to visit our daughter. The area was perfect and centrally located for us. The condo was clean and well kept. Jason was very responsive to questions I had regarding parking. I just wish the weather would have nicer to use the outdoor deck! I would say the only downfall (and no fault of the owner) is that it was a bit noisy at night with people outside. However, when going to a city that is expected.

Karen’s place had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It truly felt like home. The park right in front of the house made evening walks especially enjoyable. I’d recommend it to other guests!

There was one issue with the tub and bath sink drain. They had someone out the next morning. Very responsive. The communication was also very good, again very responsive with any questions I had.

Comfortable, clean, well stocked and great location

We had an excellent stay at Lisa's beautiful home! It is on the ground floor but there are some stairs to reach it (back door has 6 steps down), which Lisa kindly let me know prior to booking. The location is extremely convenient and quiet, the neighborhood seemed very safe and private as well. Lisa's home was pristine with plenty of supplies for cooking and plenty of places to sit and relax. The bed was super comfortable, on the softer side but still supportive and there were black out curtains in every room which let us sleep very well. The bathroom was spotless with soft towels and Lisa had very thoughtfully left some small amenities such as toothbrushes and make up wipes etc which was an extra kind touch. The decor was awesome with lots of books and art and Lisa had left little notes everywhere explaining how her home worked and also giving interesting information! I would stay again and would highly recommend! Thank you so much again Lisa!!

We took a few days off to explore the twin cities and used the Airbnb as our base. The hosts were wonderful and were very proactive to ensure we had a great stay. The house was exactly as described, very comfortable, and also had all of the amenities we needed. Overall great place, great hosts! I would stay there again.

We loved staying here! This was a very comfortable apartment for two of us and it’s spacious enough to be comfortable for more guests too. I especially appreciated the full working kitchen, high efficiency laundry facilities, and great temperature controls, lots of very soft throw blankets, and ample WiFi. We both worked from the apartment and sometimes both had Zoom meetings at once, and there was never an issue. We hope to be back! This place is a keeper.
