Monthly Rentals in Doswell

Leah's place was pretty spectacular all around. We couldn't get over how peaceful it was on the property, given that it's just a few minutes off of the hustle of I-95. We were looking for a quiet stop on our way up north, and the place and property provided us with a serene, safe and magical oasis. Leah was responsive to any inquiries we had (not that we had many!) and the place was perfect. There were enough amenities in the house to make anyone feel at home. The horses and animals were really calming. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a great stay. The Home Stretch was perfect for the calm and quiet getaway my family needed. The owners have meticulously thought through everything a guest may need or need to know and have labeled the home accordingly, which made getting settled in a breeze. I am originally from Richmond and, when returning to see family and friends, have stayed at nearly all of Richmond's AirBnBs over the years, including multiple month-long stays in Matthew's guest house. Given my needs, Matthew's is now only place I will stay if it's available, for the following reasons: 1) Matthew and his team are exemplary: highly professional (e.g. always quick to resolve minor issues that naturally come up in rental properties) and exceptionally caring (e.g., checking on us after we received medical care, during winter storms, etc.). The unit is extremely clean (thanks to a superb cleaning crew) and you will be impressed with how comfortable and private the unit is. No contact with neighbors, though they are pleasant/quiet. Totally safe for women solo travelers. Excellent location in Richmond - easy to get to highway, Fan/Carytown, downtown, VCU, University of Richmond, WestEnd, etc. We have already made our next reservation here. Don't hesitate to book yours.
