Having grown up in the area, Kennel Farm is the place we choose to come back for our family holiday every year. We love the house and surroundings. Excellent location and Tanya is a perfect host. Highly recommend.

We keep returning to this corner of Dorset and this is our third trip to Mapperton - and not our last. Absolutely the most beautiful place and immaculate, tasteful, cosy cottage.

My friends and I enjoyed our beautiful and quiet girls weekend away. The lodge is exactly how it’s described and looked like the pictures, very comfortable and clean stay, the hot tub is incredible. On a cloudless night you can sit back in the tub and see how clear the stars are. Lisa is a wonderful host who greeted us when we arrived to show us how to use the hot tub and gave some locations to visit. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, away from the everyday hustle and bustle of city life, recharge your energy, you need a stay here. We visited Wincanton, Sherborne and Glastonbury during our two night stay. An absolute gem of a find, friends and I would love to book again next year for a few more days, absolutely breathtaking scenery for an amazing price.

Linda's cottage is beautiful, stunning views of the country side, lovely garden. Really everything we expected and was a perfect place to stay as we were attending a wedding in Sixpenny Handley. Linda herself is so kind, so welcoming and so informative of the area.

We had a wonderful weekend in Hanford Minima. The house is beautifully furnished and absolutely immaculate. The beds were super-comfortable, and it was a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay in the stunning Dorset countryside. We had really responsive, helpful communication from our host, who was extra kind and thoughtful in relation to my frail father who was staying with us - thank you so much, Jingo!

We had a lovely week at Alpine Grove touring park. Clear communication from Keith. The space was very clean and had all facilities needed for our stay. Our toddler also really enjoyed the swimming pool! Would definitely stay again. Loved it

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Dianne and Stephen were responsive and so welcoming to their beautiful home. The space was comfortable and clean and lovely and light. Our little private decking area was perfect for the children and the dog and had beautiful, peaceful views over the garden. Having access to the pool was amazing, even on a cloudy day we spent a lot of time in there with the children as it was lovely and warm. The garden is beautiful and it was nice to be able to wonder around.

Mike's place was an absolute dream for our pre-baby, relaxing getaway with our Whippet! It completely exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, right on the SW coast path yet feeling wonderfully secluded, while still being just a quick 5-minute drive to Lyme Regis. Although the listing mentioned the garden wasn't fully secure, we found it to be very secure for our Whippet which was an added bonus. There are also several gates to pass through on the way from the parking area, adding to the security. Our dog lovedddd running about with a frisbee and then sunbathing ha! We honestly loved the property so much (especially the pool!) that we barely left, only venturing out for morning coffee and breakfast. Mike's recommendations were spot on – Poco Pizza was fantastic for takeaway, and communication was excellent throughout. We'll be hard-pressed to find another Airbnb that compares and look forward to coming back with our baby. Thank you!

Had a lovely three night stay in Acorn hut. Spacious and very private outdoor space with a hot tub for relaxing. Bathroom facilities were clean and shower was great. The hut itself was cosy with everything you need for a few nights away. Big enough for my partner and I as well as our large greyhound. The host was lovely and helpful with advice about places to go and the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a peaceful spot.

A great place to stay for families and groups. Super quick responses, loads of info provided in advance and useful links to places in the area. Lovely house and so much to offer for the young and old - our group ranged from 5 years old to retirees and we all had a fab time. Everything was lovely and clean and well maintained. Would happily go back. Thank you!

A really nice, dog friendly airbnb. A beautiful walk through the woods to the beach. Pool was an added bonus - our children used it, I passed as it wasn’t warm enough yet. The hosts were on site, available for questions, but extremely respectful of our privacy. Recommended

This is our first Airbnb stay, also our first stay taking our dog. Having read and turned down a number of other Airbnb places the ducks wing seemed to fit the bill (no pun intended). The garden is lovely and secure, the rooms are extremely quirky which we both liked, our dog loved it. We didn't make best use of the many facilities including the pool, BBQ etc. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the countryside. As I've said our first experience with Airbnb but we were very impressed.

Loved our stay at the Cottage. Was an ideal location to spend a week exploring beautiful Dorset. Some great local walks and lots of places to visit a short drive away. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed, cozy and comfortable for two of us and our dog. Highly recommended if you’re planning to visit this area.

We had a wonderful stay at Lockett Farm! The setting is peaceful and beautifully maintained, with lovely countryside views that made for a really relaxing getaway. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, and easy to communicate with nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel right at home. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of care into making the space feel special.

Had a wonderful solo stay with my dog at Dawn’s place. The cottage was cozy, quiet, and perfect for unwinding. Great local walks right from the door, a friendly dog-welcoming pub nearby, and a real sense of peace. Felt safe and relaxed the whole time —would absolutely return. Thanks for having us Dawn!

I stayed for a few days to attend a wedding in Glastonbury. I was able to access a gorgeousgarden. If it wasnt for the weather I could have easily sat outside to eat my meals. The inside was perfectly sourced. a great kitchen that was modern and easily kept clean. A lovely shower room with gorgeous fluffy towels. There was even a tv with a built in cd player and a huge selection of excellent DVDs. The kitchen did not have a cooker or a sink. But there was a stove stop, airfryer and bowl readily available. Parking was safe and easily accessible. Shops were a pleasant 15 mins walk away. The extra addition of the 3 dogs was a joy to me. The hosts were lovely. Friendly and respected my privacy AND my late hours coming home after the wedding. I definitely want to go there again xxx

Absolutely fantastic location,beautiful annexe home from home very comfortable,welcome from Rosie was lovely couldn’t ask for a better host,throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again . I adore cows and seeing them in their surroundings was just magic looking out of the patio doors and kitchen window seeing the hills beyond is just breathtaking,peaceful and so relaxing .
