Elburg - Fortress "Bij de jufferen"

In the medieval fortress of Elburg lies this monumental residence (1850) with many authentic details. On the ground floor is the private entrance. You can also put your bikes there. On the first floor (old steep staircase😉) you will find a cozy living room with kitchen. Also here is the staircase to the loft where the bedroom is. You have access to a private kitchen with (simple) cooking facilities. The green fortress wall is 50 meters away, and you have a view of the historic church tower.

Design gazebo in the woods

• The Veluwe is the largest push moraine complex in the Netherlands. On the north-western edge of this forest you find this gazebo near the locally famous sand drift. It sits on 3 acres of woodland belonging to a detached house. • The gazebo is fully insulated and consists of three spaces: bathroom, bedroom and lounge. There is no cooking option, but there is a small oven for you to use. • The gazebo was fully renovated in 2023 and is decorated in a contemporary mid-century modern style.

This unique home was built under architectural design and guidance. Rural location on the edge of forest and sand drift. The Veluwemeer is within cycling distance. Culture and culinary experiences are plentiful in the area. Downstairs, everything is on the ground floor. People with physical disabilities are also welcome. Our beautiful windmill was built on the remains of a medieval castle in 1873. In 2006 the mill was fully renovated. You will have a comfortable stay in the mill which is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Maurik is a charming village, very centrally located between larger cities like Utrecht, Den Bosch, Arnhem and Nijmegen. The area is very suitable for cycling, hiking and swimming.
