great host, great location

The loft occupies the top floor of the family home, in an idyllic setting on the edge of a small canal in the Poitevin marsh. Chickens, goats, sheep, dogs, cats, swallows and small birds, this is the home of happiness. We had a wonderful weekend, between canoeing and cycling in the marsh.

Very clean,quiet, as described...ideal for radiating on La Rochelle,the Poitevin marsh,the island of Re... I would recommend it..

Brigitte is super nice and very helpful. The apartment is super clean, large, very quiet, with heating and equipped with everything you need. The location is central in the old town centre, and you can walk to the harbour in a few minutes. Nearby there are many restaurants and shopping. Arriving by car is a bit complicated due to the location of the apartment (no stopping and parking in front of the apartment). There are parking spaces in the vicinity, but many of them are subject to a charge. Free parking is available near the adjacent park. All in all, it was a very nice stay in La Rochelle. Jean Marie is a great host. The place is well located within less than 15 minutes walk from the centre. it is a great appartement well decorated and well appointed and met all our needs for a short break in La Rochelle. There is on site free parking which for us was a real bonus. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended.

We have been using Airbnb for a long time but this is amongst the best places we have stayed. The location is brilliant with a private beach..,,come on! Aurelie was brilliant with great advice on local sights and restaurants Would recommend Les Viviers exceptional food. We cannot wait to come back cannot recommend highly enough. Property was quiet while we were there beautifully presented comfortable bed and super shower

We spent a very enjoyable week in Valerie's apartment. She and her husband welcomed us at the door even though our flight was delayed. A gift of brioche , orange juice and a locally produced aperitif was a nice touch. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything one could possibly need. it was really quiet in spite of being on the Quai which is a hive of activity. She replied to any communication within minutes. Highly recommended.

The apartment is located in the heart of the old port of La Rochelle. It overlooks an inner courtyard which makes it peaceful in the middle of the restaurants and cafes around. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bedding very comfortable. We highly recommend Leslie's apartment - a peaceful haven where we happily returned after our busy days. Leslie is very responsive and attentive.

We had a good time. The accommodation is very nice, the terrace a nice asset. The city centre of La Rochelle is quickly accessible (even on foot along the Rompsay canal for the brave!). The environment is nice and there are no parking difficulties, which is a significant advantage... We will be back no problem.

It’s a fantastic location in a beautiful part of La Rochelle, a few minutes walk to the Port, shops, restaurants etc. The apartment was very well equipped with lovely views from the terrace including the use of the jacuzzi which was an added bonus. For young toddlers and people with mobility issues the stairs would be challenging. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

Perfectly equipped and decorated accommodation. I booked at the last minute with an arrival time that could have been a problem, but Alexa was lovely and super responsive. The spa is a real plus, very nice to end your stay perfectly! I won't hesitate to book again when I return to Fontenay. Special mention to the person in charge of handing over the keys for their explanations and kindness.

Too bad the bakery blocks access to the car park and the two spaces in front of the accommodation are permanently occupied. For the rest very well

Very nice welcome from Frédéric. We stayed there on a long weekend with our baby, the studio space was quite sufficient. The common courtyard is very pleasant. Perfect location, with views of the port, shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity (without the associated noise pollution). Frédéric was very available for all questions. I would recommend it.

Very nice place with its small terrace out of sight . The hot tub is a real joy no matter the weather . Very well placed on the island . You can do anything on foot or by bike . Boris is always available and very welcoming . A big thank you . To be done again with great pleasure .
