We stayed for a month and had a great experience. The host was kind, friendly, and generous. The apartment is well-equipped, beautifully decorated, and has a firm, comfortable mattress. Located on the 7th floor with an elevator, it’s in a quiet area just 2 km from the city center. There are great dining options nearby, plus a good supermarket. The high-speed internet (256/250 Mbps) was flawless, perfect for remote work. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Was surprised by all the mod-cons and nice design of the flat. There is a lift up to the 5th floor which was handy with all our bags after a long night bus and Mike gave clear instructions and helped us get in at 3am. The apartment has every amenity you could need; washing machine, fridge/freezer, induction hob, oven, kitchen utensils (with a cool extendable shelf in the kitchen cupboards!) a super comfy bed with Netflix, hot shower and a lovely balcony with a view of a plane wreck from the war that crashed into the lake nearby which is pretty cool! Nice area too, local markets and busy side streets and alleys nearby, but not too far from old quarter and centre of Hanoi. Mike was a very attentive host, asking us if we needed anything and checking we were okay which was also really kind of him. Top marks all round, highly recommend this place and at such a great price, we just wished we could stay longer!

I lived in Hanoi for almost 5 years, until mid 2024. This trip was a return visit. I knew exactly what neighborhood I wanted to be located in. If you like authentic Vietnamese food, this is the place to be. If you like to be near lots of attractions without being in the center of the main tourist area, this is the place to be. If you like a big porch with plants and a view, this is the place to be. Nothing was a problem. The host was extremely responsive and always helpful. When I come back for another visit, I’ll certainly stay here again.
