Monthly Rentals in Doe Hill

This was the best, most comfortable and cleanest rental we have ever been in, the most at home feeling. Even the pictures on the walls were well thought out and chosen. The beds were most comfortable and warm. I can go on and on but the bottom line is that we confidently want to go back and enjoy a wee bit more time.

This is a beautiful cabin in the mountains of Highland County, Virginia that was everything we hoped for an more. Our primary goal was to get away from the noise and lights of the city and this place delivered. It was so dark we could see more starts than I have seen in a very long time. It was so, so quite as well. The hiking trail and the fire pit were an added bonus that helped us enjoy our time there even more. We can't wait to go back again in the summer or fall.

My family and I had one of the greatest weeks of our lives, staying on the farm. I used to live in rural Ireland when I was a boy- and this transported me back to the sheep pastures, and the gentle rolling hills. So peaceful. Such wonderful people on the farm. My kids played in the fields, and my wife and I watched the sheep brought in every evening. We hope and plan to return.

Oh my, if you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded stay, you’re in for a treat! The noise of the world was quieted in this pristine location, surrounded by rolling hills, pastures, a big open sky, and farm animals. Don’t expect to find much to do in the area, this is simply a retreat, away from the busyness of life. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here, particularly the quiet mornings on the porch overlooking the beauty and the evenings in the hot tub watching stars and being surrounded by almost complete darkness. We had a lovely chat with Kevin the first morning that we were there - he is very authentic, kind, thoughtful, and comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate returning to this gem!
