My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). I do have a 50.00 pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs only. It is located just above the entrance to the Smoke Hole Canyon with great fishing, beautiful scenery along the paved country curvy road. You can drive through the canyon and come out on Rt 28 just below the Smoke Hole caverns and gift shop. Then continue to Seneca Rocks and hike the rocks or drive to Nelson Rocks for zip lining.

Our home is one of 4 current family houses on an active working farm that has been in operation since the late 18th century. The home is rich in history but recent renovations make it quite comfortable. The large patio is perfect for watching the sunset over Jack Mountain or the moon rise over the Bullpasture. Clear nights are great for stargazing.

This home was perfect for our stay for a family of 5 in the area for a wedding. The kitchen had everything we could have ever wanted, even gourmet coffee instructions. There was a full length mirror, iron, and ironing board. Johnny left detailed instructions for just about everything that were super helpful. The bedrooms were more spacious than expected and it was amazing to have 2 bathrooms in order to get ready on time for a family of 5. We enjoyed the bookcase of games! I hope we have reason to return to the area for another season! I'd love to see that hillside in fall, it's so very peaceful. Managed to have 2 meals at the Curly Maple. Highly recommend! Terri’s Airbnb was absolutely gorgeous. The detail and thought they put into this Airbnb was impeccable. You got to enjoy the feel of a private log cabin with all of the updates! The kitchen has everything you needed, and was nice and open to the living room. There were 3 bedrooms- all with good sized beds! It rained the first day, but the second day we cooked out on the grill and had a great time staying in! We also did a little exploring to the observatory. We’d 100% come back and spend a longer weekend walking the trails and taking a train ride! Overall 10/10 stay! :)

Nathan’s place was the perfect place to stay after a rained out hiking day in Shenandoah National Park. The drive between Shenandoah and the A frame was only about 40 minutes and I was routed through a super cool town where I stopped by two breweries and a pizza shop to take back to the A frame. Once on property, the bridge leading up to the A frame with the lights was my favorite part of the design!

We loved our stay at Fern Cottage. The location is just beautiful - amazing mountain and valley views and wonderful starry nights. The cottage is clean and charming and the outdoor spaces are great. The hosts thoughtfully provide firewood, fire starters, flashlights, and a fully stocked coffee bar. We also appreciated the recommendations and prompt communication throughout. A wonderful place to just chill out!

Me and my husband really enjoyed our weekend retreat at the cabin. The place is peaceful and beautiful. The sound of the creek and the spring bird songs are calming and relaxing. Dinah is an excellent host. She gave detailed and clear instructions and directions, so at no moment we were lost or guessing. Would love to come back! One tip: print out directions, since the phone service is spotty in the area.
