Cottage holiday rentals in Docking

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing little cottage set on a working farm. The views across the fields were absolutely stunning—truly a breath of fresh air. It was the ideal place to unwind and disconnect. Mary and her team were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They even offered us a later checkout, which was such a kind gesture (though we sadly had to decline as we were eager to get home to see our son). The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, perfect for relaxing after a peaceful day. And the complimentary bottle of wine, A lovely touch—it went down very well! The nearby village of East Harling is just a 30-minute walk away and has everything you need for a quiet retreat—whether it’s grabbing some basic groceries or enjoying a drink at one of the friendly local pubs. It’s great not having to rely on the car at all. We would highly recommend this cottage to any couple looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay here, felt right at home. Plenty of space for the 6 of us, comfortable sofas and beds, plenty of towels for the hot tub. The surrounding area was beautiful with a short walk to the lake. The hosts came back straight away with my many questions and we are getting a date sorted to book back in next year. One point to make is that there is pub down the road that although google said was open, it isn't at weekends. There is a great little cafe though on the lake that is a 5 minute walk away. Easy to get a food shopping order delivered and a really nice touch of a cake and bottle of wine as we were there celebrating Birthdays. Highly recommend this place. Thanks for having us.

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful little town full of things to do and see (and the beach is not far away). The cottage is really well-appointed and full of cool things. The hot-tub was also a complete luxury!

This was our second year staying at the cottage. Like last time it was a wonderful holiday and we were sad to go. That Cottage feels like a second home to all of us. And we will be coming again next year. The property is beautiful and cosy. The surrounding area makes you feel so relaxed within nature. In the mornings we were able to see a barn owl on the garden fence. If you want somewhere to relax and unwind in the country I cannot recommend The Cottage enough.

Pips Cottage was a lovely quaint place, based in a location that opened up lots of other opportunities to get out and about around Suffolk. Ringsfield itself is a sleepy place, with just a pub for leisure time. The cottage was perfect for what we wanted, quiet, but accessible enough to other areas. The cottage is lovely and cosy and had everything you needed for a few days away. Would highly recommend.

We booked The Threshing Barn and it did not disappoint! We loved the rural setting, relaxing in the spa and just chilling out at the house! We made use of the bbq on the first night too! A very peaceful and enjoyable stay! Not to mention there’s a field to walk the dog around in the mornings and before bed :)

We had a most enjoyable stay of 4 nights at The Cart Lodge. Very comfortable for us four adults and two dogs. We enjoyed heading out for part of the day, then returning to sit in the cosy private garden and a spell in the enticing hot tub. Little touches such as having toilet roll provided and bathroom products - soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion - was a thoughtful gesture. It was nice in the evening to chill on the comfy sofas with a bit of TV time, before retiring to our comfy beds. The cottage provided all we needed in a beautiful convenient setting for our short break away in Norfolk. Would thoroughly recommend to anybody looking to stay in this area.

What a lovely Airbnb this is, situated in a beautiful village too. We had a lovely relaxing stay, the Airbnb is packed full of the things you need, and the things you didn’t know you needed too! Loved it, thank you

We had a lovely stay at Quail Cottage, plenty of space for the children to play and run around in the beautiful garden. The location is perfect for exploring the north Norfolk coast and Jane’s recommendations for places to eat were spot on!

The cottage is a very beautiful and relaxing stay. Waking up in the morning to the views of fields was stunning but you are also short drives away from Skegness, Gunby Hall, the Aviation Centre and some great pub food. Camilla is so friendly and responsive and allowed us to bring our cat Sophia who also had a great time! The cottage is stunning, spotless and has everything you need and Camilla left a lovely breakfast package when we arrived. We would highly recommend staying here and we’ll definitely be coming back ☺️

We loved Meryl’s cottage. Well equipped and comfortable. Easy to find and lovely walks from the door. Great park too if you have children. We appreciated the off road parking too. Thank you Meryl.

Having Autistic children makes holidays very difficult for us, but this was the best holiday we’ve had! The pool was by far the best bit, we spent hours in it everyday. It was warm and very clean. The cottage was cozy and had everything you needed. Great location, so much to do within a short drive and lovely beaches. We’ll definitely be back again. Thank you Andy and Fi xx

wonderful place to enjoy nature , birds , animals , beaches and marshes. house was a window to all . a lovely place for family to visit me whilst visiting from Australia. Local Cafe and the point Cafe Lovely. Amazing walks and sunsets and sunrises .

David’s place is a great spot and I highly recommend! I would mention a few things for consideration (see below), but overall is an absolutely perfect location and lovely spot. Two things to note: - The stairs (and house) are VERY loud and creaky. The house is old and so things make noise but I have never been somewhere where things are so loud. This was only a consideration because we had a baby. So I would consider this if your baby is a light sleeper and you want to walk about. It isn’t a fault of the owners so doesn’t affect my review but it is worth noting. - Second small note is that the shower is electric and was very weak. This was a bit annoying for washing long hair. The boiler was so noisy which woke our baby. Again, no fault of the owners, but it does need to be noted. David was a lovely host, extremely responsive and the place is a loved second home. We found parking easy and loved walking to the pubs. Thank you!

The cottage was one of the best we have stayed in. Very comfortable and dog friendly.Litcham is a good base for visiting Norfolk and good amenities in the village. Lots of places to walk the dog and the pub was very friendly.

A beautiful cottage in a private, pretty and quiet area, but walkable to a very good pub with great food and the is beach very close too. The cottage was perfect and had everything you needed plus Victoria and Bertie were very good hosts. The cottage is a great base to get to all the pretty costal towns, and in a quiet setting.

The Tap room was perfect for a short break. in a beautiful location. It was extremely clean and comfortable and the welcome pack was much appreciated. We would recommend for anyone wanting to stay in a quiet but central location in Blakeney.

Just stayed 3 nights and this is everything that is described in the listing. Amy was a fantastic host with great communication before check in and during our stay. Any questions were happily answered and swiftly. As a group of 8 (2 families of 4) there was just so much space for all of us enjoy our time together. The setting was so peaceful too.

Peaceful and relaxing from the moment we arrived with a nice garden to sit on sunny mornings. Well maintained with character, the house had everything we needed with nice touches such as board games and kids toys to keep young ones happy. The hidden bedroom behind the bookshelf is a great feature. The house is in a great location for driving to places of interest as well as within walking distance to a windmill where you can make your own bread and butter, which was good to try and tasted great.

Just returned from a welcome break at the OLD STABLES in Docking, our host Charles made my friend and I feel very welcome, everything was spotlessly clean. The bungalow itself was well equipped and ready for use. Would we use the place again -YES. Shop was close by for anything you had forgotten to take with you, and a nice friendly pub that made good food a short walk in the other direction, what more could we need ,nothing but a bit better weather !!!

Our stay at Lifeboat cottage was lovely, perfect for myself and my daughter. Hetti left Coffee and Tea, sugar and a lovely cake for us. The bedrooms were a good size and plenty of wardrobe space. The shower was powerful and spacious . One thing to note is that the TV is not a Smart TV so may be worth bringing an Amazon Firestick .

lovely flint cottage, perfect for a couple. The place was spotlessly clean. Bed was super comfy and so was the settee. Close to the norfolk coastal path. Be carefull getting lost in the saltmarsh at stiffkey. Nice walk to wells and cley worth a visit as well. If you are going to eat out at the pub you have to book in advance as we found out.

We had a lovely stay here, the house is absolutely beautiful, clean and very welcoming. All instructions to us were clearly listed and everything went smoothly.
