This home is a true gem for anyone seeking peace, comfort, and a cozy atmosphere in the heart of nature. The mountain views are absolutely breathtaking—especially from the hot tub on the deck. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a day in the fresh air. The interior is beautifully designed: a spacious living room with high ceilings, warm wood paneling, a fireplace, and stylish furniture create an ideal space to relax. The bathroom feels like a private spa—minimalist, elegant, and soothing. One of the biggest highlights was the fully equipped gym with dumbbells, a bench, a punching bag, and even a sauna—an extremely rare find on Airbnb. Everything is thoughtfully arranged to make you feel at home (or even better). If you’re traveling with kids, this place couldn’t be more perfect: safe, spacious, and inspiring. The host was also incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Staying at the beautiful Onyx was a great time. The place was cozy and a great little escape to celebrate my anniversary with my partner and puppy. I loved how they accommodate to pets here. They had a doggy bowl already there at the cabin for us and even had some nice little dog treats for my puppy. Daniel was quick to respond when I had a question regarding check in. I def would come back and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice little get away the place was beautiful and clean! The jacuzzi was a nice edition to the place.

This cabin is beautiful! It has a great vibe and is conveniently located near town while remaining very quiet and peaceful. We did notice lots of dust and cobwebs inside, but the cabin was otherwise very clean, comfortable and well maintained. We noticed on our second night that the chlorine tab feeder in the hot tub was rusty, but the host replaced it as soon as we let them know, so we were very appreciative of that. We spent a lot of our time watching movies and the surround sound system made it so much more fun. We also thoroughly enjoyed using the record player. All in all, we had a lovely stay and would absolutely recommend The Whiskey Den if you’re looking for a getaway in Big Bear! We would love to stay here again someday.

Wonderful stay at this Big Bear cabin! The family loved the spacious interior which gave us plenty of room to relax together. Everything was immaculately clean - from the comfortable bedrooms to the simple yet spotless bathrooms. We enjoyed the board games on the TV, and the Wi-Fi connection was reliable throughout our stay. The property feels very private, which added to our relaxation. The abundance of windows let in beautiful natural light and offered lovely views of the surroundings. Our host provided excellent communication - extremely responsive and on top of everything we needed. The location is a little bit of a drive from downtown, which makes it perfect for those seeking privacy and quiet time away from the busier areas. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful retreat in Big Bear!

Absolutely loved our stay here. Super clean, very well-kept, cute and had everything we needed. The modern A-Frame cabin was an experience and beautiful! Great peaceful getaway and i particularly loved hearing the wind chimes, birds chirping during my nap. The hosts are so sweet, attentive and thorough with very fast responses. Highly recommend and would love to come back here again! Thank you for such a lovely time during our stay.
