Family-friendly holiday rentals in Dirkshorn

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

Our team of 6 people, business travel after one night, 1, the owner of the house proactively communicated to confirm the arrival time, it was planned to arrive at 8:30, the actual arrival was 9:30 -10, with 1 hour notice, the host was very patient; 2, There is a tree house and a swing in the house; 3. Easy parking🅿️; 4. Surrounded by 2.5km sea and beach, there are shells on the beach🐚, which is suitable for walking to see the beach🏖️;

We had a wonderful holiday in Moniek’s beautiful house. We were so comfortable and relaxed as Moniek provided everything we could need. There were lots of lovely, stylish extras in her house too that made our stay feel special. The neighbourhood is great; quiet, peaceful and full of beautiful views of boats, beaches parks, nature and water. Yet there is also loads to do with teenagers, being so close to Amsterdam, Ajax and Delft. Almere is the perfect place to explore by cycling. The week went so quickly. Moniek was very helpful in giving useful and detailed info and in answering questions quickly. I would 100% highly recommend this AirBnB to others.

The house is situated in a bungalow park and the town and the sea can be reached by bike in 10 minutes. It has a hot tub with great views of a wide field. Hammock, trampoline, playground, everything is there. On cool evenings, a gas fireplace can easily be turned on. The open kitchen offers everything you need. We really enjoyed cycling through the dunes and spending time on the beautiful sandy beach. We would come back anytime.

We had a great time during our girlfriend weekend. A lovely cottage with nice amenities. Everything was thought of. We also enjoyed the outdoor space very much. Perfect for a weekend with friends or family. Hari is incredibly friendly. We will be happy to come back!

Perfect location, unique way to stay in the city. Would highly recommend. Very different experience, of course, than a home or hotel but this makes travel more fun. Being right on the "skinny" bridge was a fantastic experience. Great for people watching or just quickly being right in the middle of everything.

Beautiful place with plenty of privacy. Elles explained everything important at the beginning and was always available. The location of the accommodation is quiet and cities, beach and shopping are within short reach. Bicycles are freely available and can be used easily. The checkout worked smoothly.

I spent some lovely days at Siennie's place with my dog. The check-in and check-out were uncomplicated, there is a parking space directly at the house. The place was clean and there was everything you need. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The highlight was of course the beach within walking distance. Unfortunately, you only learn on site that dogs are not allowed to go to bed on the sofa or with them. It would have been nice to get this information before booking. Other than that, everything else was perfect, and I felt very comfortable at the place.

We were very excited about the yard, the garden and the apartment. There are so many beautiful details that you would need many days to discover everyone. Everything was so creative and cozy, you can tell that a lot of work, passion and love is in things. We also liked the animals very much.... We had a very warm welcome and lots of great tips for excursions - just because we were also traveling with dogs, it was wonderful that they could also have their fun and we could take them everywhere...we had a nice time and filled them well! Thanks to Patries and Mike and their animals!!

Very nice, communicative hostess. The surroundings were very nice to walk the dog. The cottage has everything you need. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. We had nice conversations with Trienie and she gave us good tips for doing things. We will be happy to return.

Great place to stay with a great host, and we used the bikes provided often. Only 5 min bike ride to the train station & grocery store. Photos are a little outdated and it can get cold due to the nature of the construction.

We had a wonderful stay at the accommodation in Zandvoort. The apartment was exactly as described and in the photos – clean, cozy and very welcoming. We felt comfortable right from the beginning. The location is just perfect – close to the beach, town and yet quiet. Annette was a great host: very friendly, easily accessible and with great tips for the area. We will definitely be happy to come back!

Had a great stay. The house is beautiful with history which we found great. Esther was also very friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again.

A very cozy cottage with everything you need and much more. We particularly enjoyed the fact that the beach is within walking distance. There are many nice beach bars!

We enjoyed our stay at Wendela's. We were warmly welcomed. The "Rosenhäuschen" was exactly what we had imagined. It was our home away from home. And we'll be back for sure.

A quick ride from Amsterdam Central to a small harbor off the Main Street. Walkable to all the main attractions in Central Amsterdam and an easy spot to catch an Uber if you want to go further. The houseboat was as described on a quiet dock with friendly neighbors and two awesome houseboat cats Bo and Skipper. This was especially important since we were in town when Kings Day occurred and after a walk around the festivities, it was nice to retire from the craziness and relax on top of the houseboat. The host met us onboard walked us through everything and provided easy contact information for use during our stay. Check-out was a breeze. A great find and a great value!

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

I felt very comfortable in the beautifully decorated car. Also because it was something different. The welcome by Jose' was very friendly. I'd love to come back.

We traveled as a large family and especially for children the garden with trampoline is great. The house is situated in a holiday park and many surrounding cities, attractions and attractions are easily accessible by car. You can also get to Amsterdam or Utrecht quickly on a day trip. The house is equipped with everything you need, we were 7 adults and 2 children, so there was more than enough space, the house is designed for 16 people. The hostess was friendly and always available for questions. Ideal for an extended weekend in the Netherlands.

a very pleasant stay on Steven's boat...spending a few days on the Don is a bit of a sailor but it's very pleasant. Weesp is a small town with an absolute charm, ideally located in relation to Amsterdam. Don't hesitate, ask permission to board.

Magdalena's place is set in an enchanting setting. We stayed there several nights with our 7-year-old son. The space is big, we have plenty of space. Access to the bus to Amsterdam is simple: 15 minutes walk and 15-20 minutes by bus, very easy and very convenient! By car we were able to visit the surrounding fishing villages. We would recommend this listing.
