The apartment has recently been completely renovated. The walls have been finished with anti mold plates & cleaning.

At the foot of the Hermann, in a central yet quiet location, is our newly renovated, historical villa on the Bandelberg. We have a gated park place for your car and a locked garage for your bicycles. The distance to the train station, the old town and the state theater is about 1 km. The University of Music, the summer theater and the largest open-air museum in Germany can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. The Hermann monument is 3km away.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy the time in our "Old Mill," where in the 19th our wheat was still ground in the 19th century. In 2019, we converted the premises into a cozy, small apartment and are now looking forward to welcoming guests to our farm who want to treat themselves to a break in nature - with walks and bike tours right next to us in the adjacent forest. The numerous sights of the region are wonderfully accessible by bus. Buses run 3 minutes away. A cheap parking space is 5 minutes by walk. The apartment is on the second floor of one of the oldest buildings in Detmold, with cozy old building charm.

In my lovingly furnished apartments you will find the ideal starting point for tours around the Externsteine, the Hermann Monument and all other worthwhile excursion destinations in Lipperland. The apartments are centrally located yet in the countryside. There are shops, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance, and the Externsteine are 'around the corner.' The apartments are non-smoking apartments, no pets allowed.

This very central yet quiet apartment is about a 2-3 minute walk from the train station. By car you can park (for a fee) directly in the street in front of the house. The apartment has a modern bathroom with shower cabin and a living room with a pull-out sofa including topper for a comfortable lying area of 200cm x 160cm. The small kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare breakfast, cold & hot meals.
