This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Heidehof is a detached cottage for 6 persons located in one of the most beautiful areas of Texel. On the West side of the island near the woods and the beach with an free view over the meadows, the dunes and the church of Den Hoorn. Rabbits, buzzards, harriers and owls regularly visit Heidehof. In the evening you can enjoy the most beautiful starlit sky in the Netherlands, kept warm by the log fire in the fireplace.

The large sliding doors give direct access from the living room on a covered terrace located on the southwest. The apartment is located on the ground floor, has 2 bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. The cottage is in the back of our yard and offers a lot of peace and privacy and has its own garden with veranda and picnic table.

The Poolster is a home with double French doors. The kitchen has a gas stove with oven. The large sauna with 4 sofas is inside the house. A huge flat-screen TV is available. There's a separate toilet and rain shower. There is a private terrace with table and chairs, and you can use the sunny general garden with sunbeds.
