The chalet is placed in a unique location close to the beach and a view of the bulb fields + dunes. The accommodation is located next to our beautiful riding school; we try to take our guests into account as much as possible in terms of (noise)nuisance, but we do work to look after our horses. Pleasant, spacious (70 m2) appartment on the whole groundfloor of my house with private, modest kitchen and private bathroom and access to a large cozy garden (150m2) in the center of Den Helder. Walking distance to the sea, the trainstation (75 minutes to Amsterdam) and the ferry to Texel. Parking is free in a distance of 300 meter, and around the house is a blue parking zone here you can stand for three hours. Garage available to park your bikes inside. Supermarket one minute walking distance.

Within less than 1.5 hours drive (!) you will find some of the best tourist attractions in the Netherlands - such as Amsterdam. All well worth great day trips!

Beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms. Completely on your own. At the back a spacious garden room with fireplace and also its own garden. The garden room can be heated with the fireplace . In the winter it can be too cold to sit there only with the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bath and a double shower. There is also a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. Wonderful apartment to stay entirely on your own and enjoying the tranquility!

We spent three days with Yvon's (and her neighbor's) cats in her (or probably their) thoughtfully decorated guest apartment. After a warm welcome from Yvon, we were immediately greeted by the man of the house and one of our new temporary roommates, Dix. He is incredibly trusting from the first minute and made sure to pay us a visit multiple times each day to get his dose of head scratches and belly rubs (if he allows it). The entire place was spotless, we hardly even noticed any cat hair. Same goes for the large bathroom with a nice rain shower. The mini fridge was a useful addition. As if all of that is not enough for the great price we paid (less than any of the hotels around), Yvon prepared a delicious breakfast every morning, including freshly made waffles, coffee and tea. She even went out of her way to ensure we'd get the eggs cooked exactly the way we preferred. Whenever we will make another trip to Noord-Holland, this is absolutely the place we'll consider first.

We were completely happy with our accommodation. Justin allowed us to arrive earlier and even greeted us in person. The accommodation is as described, very nicely furnished and impeccably clean. We loved the smell of the laundry ;) In the bathroom, there are plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and even body lotion - like in a 5-star hotel. Justin was easily accessible to us and very committed to finding us a bike rental. We would book here at any time

We had a lovely weekend at Marian's place with our two young kids; we stayed in the 'pipowagen' and enjoyed the spacious green terrace in front to play and relax. The pipowagen comes with a private section to cook, eat and shower. Everything was clean and Marian is a super and friendly host. The beach is only a 5min drive away and even on a sunny day not too crowded. We loved it!

This is the most cost-effective and comprehensive listing I've ever stayed in.The interior of the house is very clean, and there is a large yard so it has its own private space.The host even prepared two bicycles, a barbecue grill, and entertainment such as cards.The neighborhood where the house is located is very beautiful and very quiet, and we spent two pleasant nights here.Thank you for providing a perfect place for our holiday.

I was a guest at Esther's accommodation with my dog two years ago. The location is quiet and beautiful. There is everything you need for a nice holiday and Esther is a wonderful host. She always has an open ear and good tips. :)
