Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Den Helder

Jan and Inga's place was a great place to stay. it was clean and comfortable. The shower was great! It was also within easy walking distance to the center of town. Jan recommended the Restaurant de Hoofdtoren to us for dinner and it was fantastic. We went every night! Hoorn is such a cute town to stay in also. I would recommend this Airbnb.

We used Debby's accommodation for a short trip to the sea with the family and we were all super excited! We travelled with 4 adults, two children and our cat and the house was large enough, super clean, toys had been provided for the children and the garden with sandbox was also a dream for all of us. In 4 minutes we were with the cars by the sea and the dunes. That's exactly how we imagined it! Debby was super sweet and helpful and even helped us when we were missing an ingredient while cooking. Really a successful stay and we would definitely come back <3

We spent very nice days in this beautiful house. The terrace directly on a small canal with a view over the meadows offered pure relaxation. The area is ideal for cycling along the canals and blooming tulip fields. Trudi was a very nice and attentive host. Thank you! Maria and Heiko

The perfect pad for two in a really beautiful part of Amsterdam - central and easy to walk to everything but quiet at night and a lovely friendly atmosphere. Mati was great and really easy to get hold of, ask questions etc. I would highly recommend this stay.

Inside of the house was very clean .All appliances that were offered worked fine. I liked his pet animals.

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. However, our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived in a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. Thank you for everything Saskia and Flip.

Communication was great, Janine proactively gave tips and responded quickly! The area is very quiet and dignified, great for a day trip to Texel! We rented e-bikes from the nearby Hotel Beatrix for this. Delivered super :) the accommodation is really great, could have been cleaned better in two or three places (hair in the bathroom cupboard, some cobwebs, almost empty soap in the toilet downstairs). Otherwise everything was great, happy to come back! :)

Both the building and the interior are in very good, almost new condition. The equipment with utensils for daily use is excellent. The landlords are very easy to reach and help at any time. The holiday home is located within a campsite with pool, shop, etc. You can see the description. The house has a "field edge location" in the campsite, so it is very quiet. Location near the beach, best to check on Google Earth. During our stay, there was no reason to complain.

Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

I had a super nice stay in Eva's apartment! A beautiful, spacious house that is equipped with all comforts. I thought the cheerful Blond tableware was a nice detail! In addition, the location is ideal: the station and the centre are close by and the house offers the perfect base for a nice walk along the canals. Moreover, Eva was easily accessible and responded very quickly to messages. I can recommend this apartment to anyone!

“My stay at Evert’s place was 10/5 stars. The location is wonderful - right on the canal, down the street from a lovely cafe and flower shop and central to popular and nontouristy attractions alike. Evert is a wonderful and warm host who has meticulously curated a beautiful and homey flat. He provides extensive resources on the artistic hidden gems of Amsterdam within the flat’s book collection, which I found helpful and charming. The flat is on the second floor of the building owned by Evert and looks onto the canal. Evert welcomed me and showed me how to access the property so I could come and go as I pleased and had the independence and privacy that I desired. Would be a dream to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. A cozy accommodation with all comforts. The location is perfect and Grace and Vincent are fantastic hosts. Definitely recommended!

Absolutely stunning Airbnb right in the middle of a bustling area. Host was so accommodating with an earlier check in, storing our luggage and organising a return taxi to the airport. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Amsterdam!

The only issue is that the ceiling in the upstairs loft is 190cm so if you're tall this cute cottage isn't probably ideal.

We were in Callantsoog for the first time and both the place and the apartment contributed to the fact that we will definitely come back. Nathalie is very friendly and the apartment is furnished with great attention to detail. The bathroom in particular was nice and large and modern. Basically, we liked everything pretty well, but the bedroom was a little bright at night. However, Nathalie said that this will be fixed soon. We can only recommend this apartment in an absolute top location! It was great :)

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

The Condominium is in a nice quiet part of Amsterdam, but still easy to get to city centre. Was very clean and comfortable.

Our stay at Monica and Pasqual’s was excellent. The home is exactly what is depicted in the photos. Monica and Pasqual’s communication with us was excellent and when we asked about our bicycles they provided us with a solid lock so we could safely leave them in the front yard. The huge bedroom windows overlook an intersection and I loved sitting in bed with the morning sun streaming in, enjoying my early morning coffee while watching the local people go about life. The location was perfect for us to walk from the train/bus station or cycle to family and friends.

We had a wonderful time at this beachfront home. The location is fantastic and the area offers many opportunities for recreation and exploration. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful – their tips for excursions and activities were very valuable. The apartment itself is very luxuriously furnished and equipped with everything you need. We felt completely comfortable and can absolutely recommend this place!

We had a great time in this sweet apartment. We loved sitting in the living room overlooking the canal and appreciated the great shower and overall layout of the apartment. The location is fantastic. Very residential and more peaceful than other parts of the city we have been to. We highly recommend it!

Perfectly located apartment from which you can enjoy a fantastic sunset in the evening. The beach bars are in the immediate vicinity. It is about 15 minutes on foot to the centre. A plus point is the parking space belonging to the apartment and located on the property. We can definitely recommend the stylishly furnished beach house.

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!
