Holiday houses in Den Dungen

To find a private home with as many bathrooms as bedrooms is very unusual in Holland. So this was perfect. The home was very sound proof. Beautiful views and country feel. And the cows, calf’s, rabbits, storks, swans, hot air balloons (at times) mowing of the land. Even the cow smell (sometimes) added to the charm of the location. And it’s about 25/40 min drive from sight seeing. Stores about 10 min drive and bus stop right in front by the road. 👍 and Marga was accommodating with info etc. Even let my kids check out the new born calf’s 😌 space enough for us group of 10 and cherry we got fresh cow milk 😋

Amazing stay! Would definitely recommend! It is very spacious and we could tell the host really put in full effort to make a place that was very accommodating and had every little thing you needed and then some. We found the space to be very well set up and designed creating a very cozy feel. The park area had a restaurant, laundry, and grocery stores were less than 10 min away. Really short distance to the University as well. Finally, I felt the hosts were very nice, great to talk to, and were quickly on top of any questions or concerns, large or small, that we asked about. Loved the privacy too and having a whole cottage to ourselves!

Wir waren eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus am See. Die Natur ist einzigartig der Blick auf den See und die Seevögel spektakulär. Man hat absolute Ruhe und kann, wenn man möchte, auch ein bisschen mit dem Ruderboot rausfahren. Gouda, Rotterdam und Den Haag sind superschnell zu erreichen, wenn es mal regnet oder man mal etwas anders sehen möchte. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dem Haus. Es gibt aufgrund der Seelage wohl einige Flug Insekten, aber zumindest zu dieser Jahreszeit waren keine stechenden Exemplare dabei. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Fantastische plek! Rust, ruimte, zeer goede communicatie. Op loopafstand van het centrum. Aanraders. Ook omdat de hond meer dan welkom is en alle ruimte heeft.

Marcel is a great host who takes care of his guests. He is available when needed. The apartment is very nice, quiet and peaceful. Everything that is needed for å week or weekend is there and the outdoor area is beautiful.

Manja und Wouter waren fantastische Gastgeber. Sie haben sich sehr viel Zeit für uns genommen und uns immer gefragt, wie unser Tag war und tolle Tipps gegeben. Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft. Mit Liebe zum Detail und allem, was man braucht ausgestattet. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können die Unterkunft nur jedem weiterempfehlen.

Een heel prettig ontvangst, met kleine rondleiding. Alle aanpassingen die en overleg voor mij gedaan waren waren prima geregeld. Tussentyds zoals afgesproken af en toe even kort app contact en ook een spannend akkefietje werd acuut opgelost, met humor!🫢🤣. Ook genoten van het bad!! Ook de oplevering ging volt en probleemloos. Niets maar dan ook niets viel me tegen. We hebben 2 weken lang optimaal genoten!!!! Voor mij was de prikkelarm omgeving en de natuur rondom Groesbeek heel helend. Echt een aanrader voor levensgenieters!!

Unique place to soak up the Dutch history and landscape. The renovation was done really well, keeping the history and at the same time incorporating all the modern conveniences. We loved our say here.
