Enjoy peace and quiet, lambs and calves in the spring, whistling birds, and sweeping views of the Frisian landscape, even from the bathtub. The vacation park also offers various facilities, and there is a meadow with some forest and a small lake, which is also a habitat for deer. The area is known for its many tea gardens and the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea.

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no Wi-Fi and no TV. There is a large table for playing games together and a lovely sofa for enjoying a glass of wine together. Sluyterman Apartment

Between Leeuwarden, Sneek, Franeker and Bolsward lies our quiet village in the Frisian countryside in "De Greidhoeke". The apartment is located in our house from 1856 with beautiful high ceilings, a private entrance and free parking in front of the door. The apartment is on the ground floor, fully equipped with underfloor heating and a fully equipped kitchen. In the bathroom, there is also a washing machine, including detergent, for the small laundry.

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.

A beautiful part of Friesland, with beautiful sunsets. Around this area, many cycling routes can be found, including the famous ferry route. The parking lot at the water villa has a charging station. A maximum of 2 vehicles are allowed in the Arkenpark.

Hidden place near the center of Leeuwarden

Hidden in the Leeuwarden district of Huizum, lies the former kindergarten "Boartlik Begjin". At the end of the Ludolf Bakhuizenstraat, lies this special quiet place, within walking distance of the city center and the train station. A nice base to go into the city, shop or visit one of the museums. And also to discover the rest of Friesland. The room is also suitable as a home office (WiFi available).
