The farmworkers house is a historic building formerly occupied by large families who were employed by the farmer. Everything is still in its original state. Experience for yourself how these people used to live and enjoy the authentic atmosphere of this ancient house. The house offers plenty of space for 10 people and is fully antique furnishings. It has lots of atmosphere and is also equipped with all the modern things and comfort DOWNSTAIRS There are three living areas downstairs. In the kitchen can be extended cooked and eaten, but it is also a very nice place to spend the evenings. Nice and warm beside the Aga cooker can socialize late into the evening and linger long. Put beautiful music and plug in the winter once the fireplace. The living room with sliding doors separate the kitchen. Here you can plop on the couch and watch TV. TOP Upstairs are three bedrooms. 2 rooms have 3 single beds and 1 bedroom has a 2 persons bed. The rooms are spacious and bright, around old stable windows that you can open. These windows offer views over the pastures with farms, you can see far into the typical expansive environment that only knows as Friesland. Wake up to birdsong and sounds of farm animals is a unforgettable experience. All rooms are equipped with professional fans. There is room enough for possibly a 2nd cot. The house may be less suitable for people who are badly injured. The house knows a few steps and steep ladders. discuss this with your traveling companions. OUTSIDE The farmhand house is surrounded by nature, you will find yourself between the farms and pastures. There is a terrace to have breakfast with the morning sun from the east. The large garden with picnic table located behind the house and is oriented to the west that the evening sun. The village has a children's playground and a phalanx at the bridge you can rent a canoe or a boat. Here you can swim and eat ice cream. The tourist office is also there. Beautiful place to relax in Workum

This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has beautiful views over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

This little house has two sides to it. On the breakfast side, you sit very peacefully looking out over the meadows. With a bit of luck, the cows will walk past on the road towards the pasture. On the other side of the house, you are situated on the well-known Elfstedentocht route. It's a bit livelier here. Boats, cyclists, and many tours following the famous Eleven Cities route. The sun circles the house, which means it has a wonderfully sunny garden at any time of the day.

Near the Elfstedenstadjes Bolsward, Sneek, IJlst and Workum, lies this beautiful rural holiday home with stunning views. The vacation home is located at the back of the yard of our farm with dairy farm. It is a very neat, fully furnished house with its own kitchen, bathroom and cozy pellet stove. You will not be lacking anything in the house. The farm is a great starting point for the many cycling, hiking or canoeing routes through the beautiful Frisian Lakes area.

De Waard van Hidaard

On the Hidaard mound, you will stay in the stylish front house of our old farmhouse, with its own entrance and facilities. Our house has a spacious kitchen-diner and 2 bedrooms with their own bathroom. If you book for 2 people, you will get the lower floor, i.e. the kitchen and 1 bedroom. If you want to use 2 bedrooms, you must book for at least 3 people. Wake up to the sound of birds singing, a sweeping view and the cosy warmth of the wood-burning stove.

Aldehoeve: Holiday apartment 'ien' for max. 6p

Aldehoeve is a characteristic Frisian farm from 1860, just a 5-minute walk from the old city center of Workum and close to the IJsselmeer. The farm has three spacious apartments: Aldehoeve Ien, Twa and Trije. Ien is very spacious with a surface of over 200 m² and can accommodate 6 people. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped large kitchen. The kitchen gives access to the large terrace, where you can eat/BBQ outside at your own private terrace.

Whether you are cooking together in the luxury kitchen or hanging out on the sofa in front of the wood-burning stove, you will notice the intimate atmosphere and the beautiful light everywhere. The house is located directly on open water and has a large veranda. With the village and beach within cycling distance, this is a wonderful place to recharge.

This centrally located accommodation is tastefully decorated and is located in the heart of Workum overlooking the harbor and the large church.
