Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. In the heart of den Burg is our old boarding house. A house with lots of character and history. We offer a private studio with sleeping loft. PLEASE NOTE the stairs of the sleeping loft is a steep spiral staircase. Stair railing is provided. There is a private outdoor courtyard and there are possibly two non-electric bicycles to use. We live in the middle of the cozy center of den Burg with its many nice shops and eateries. Very easy to reach with public transportation.

The cottage is near the village center of Den Burg and 10 minutes by car from the beach. The Sheepboy has a cozy look and is simply decorated i.e. no dishwasher or a sauna. However, a good stove, a nice sofa and good beds. My place is particularly suitable for people 2. In the holiday periods, you can ONLY RENT PER WEEK. Especially the summer and Christmas holidays. Also important: your dog can come, additional costs are 15 euros per booking.

Heidehof is a detached cottage for 6 persons located in one of the most beautiful areas of Texel. On the West side of the island near the woods and the beach with an free view over the meadows, the dunes and the church of Den Hoorn. Hares, buzzards, chick thieves and owls regularly come to Heidehof for a look. In the evening you can enjoy the most beautiful starry sky in the Netherlands, kept warm by the wood fire in the fireplace.
