Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Dauphin Island

I highly recommend this place, especially if you have a large family. We only have the two of us and our dog, but the place is spacious, clean, and near everything. The host is friendly and responsive to any issues.

This place was perfect! Great proximity to the beach, especially considering it is a pet-friendly home. And, close to town if we needed anything. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The beach was not the least bit crowded, and we had beautiful weather. We loved the layout of the house and how spacious it is. Plenty of everything for comfort and for a home away from home! The instructions were clear and posted in multiple places. The owner was very communicative and friendly. Definitely a place we would stay again and again! Thank you for a perfect vacation!

If you’re looking for a DREAM beach stay, book now! This place is 10 out of 10 with spacious rooms & living room. Lots of blankets to cuddle up with & extra towels for showers. All the beds were nice & comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen with plenty of silverware, bowls, & any dish you need to cook - we really appreciated this! Wonderful view of the beach with several spots on the upper or lower balconies to rest/relax. Also used the outdoor shower to rinse sand off too. You’re right on the beach so lots of nice views, we actually saw dolphins most days we were there. The hosts are a sweet & genuine couple who are invested in guests having the best vacation ever experience! We will for sure be looking at renting this place again in the future.

We loved our stay at Sean‘s place! The pictures do not do it justice! We loved having four bedrooms with a king size bed in each! There is a full bathroom on the main floor and bath upstairs with a clawfoot tub, sink and toilet and a half bath in one of the bedrooms. The kitchen has all the pots, pans utensils and dishes you will need! We loved having the dock so close to the house and the relaxing porch with the hot tub! The neighborhood is peaceful and walkable. The West End Beach is just a few minutes drive by car. It is the most accessible beach on the island with bathrooms. We highly recommend getting shrimp steamed with potatoes, corn, and sausage from Skinners! This house was so conveniently located. We definitely recommend it.

My family and I had a great vacation and thoroughly enjoyed Brady's home in Gilf Shores. The home is clean and modern with everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation. So glad we followed the recommendation to take the Surf's Up Dolphin Cruise, too. And being able to include our dogs in our trip was just perfect! Highly recommend!!

Place exactly as pictured easy check-in . Extremely clean, kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Had one minor issue with a missing tv remote, Dylan and his Team called immediately to sort things out and even offered to bring a remote. Couldn’t ask for a better stay or host . 10/10

We had a peaceful and relaxing week minus the one storm where we were without power through the hot night. No fault to the owners. Great location! Would recommend!

Carla and Jason's Barefoot Bungalow was everything we had hoped for and more! To look out the windows and see the ocean was breathtaking. Having a place right on the ocean was so worth it! (Though cost was totally reasonable!) We had a small gathering of immediate family for my Mom's birthday and it could not have been a better venue! Being so close to the beach allowed for so much more ease, entertainment, and joy! Walks and time on the beach in both the morning and the evening was so conducive to connection. Perfect for a family reunion of sorts! Sitting on the large wraparound deck to greet the day over coffee, sea birds flying over head, and the ocean breeze was wonderful! And the interior layout allowed for all of us to have space and room to breathe. Our time at Barefoot Bungalow will be remembered forever and we hope to make it back there in the not too distant future!

Beautiful location, beautiful home-we especially appreciated the pool with 3 children under 6. I loved watching the dolphins. We also of course loved the beach and the proximity to the marina. Amy was very responsive and helpful-would love to return.

We booked this for a date night getaway and it delivered. The design of the house with the large windows was picturesque. The home is a great design with tall ceilings and natural light. It is what you look for in a stay away from your own home that is more of an experience.

We had a wonderful time at the beach. The house was great and very close to the beach. The pool was also a great feature.

Denise and Brad were great hosts! Their place was peaceful, quiet, and cozy. It was walking distance from the beach and they had provided chairs and umbrellas as well to take with you. Lots of good restaurants to choose from in the area for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Great place; very beautiful. Loved the screened in porch with a beautiful view of Florida’s natural surroundings . Four deer 🦌 came to visit in the back of home- amazing. Too Quick a trip to celebrate daughter’s graduation. We will definitely be back. It was a great location for us. First time we were able to take our golden retriever on vacation . We were very happy with our stay. The area was perfect to attend a destination wedding for family in Orange Beach. It was such a a comfortable stay. Quiet and many thoughtful details were included such as coffee and snacks. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool area and the dog-friendly attitude. Very good value and I definitely plan to revisit!

We had an awesome stay here as a family. It was comfortable, views were amazing, the beach was beautiful, and the pool was a nice touch. We barely left the house it was so peaceful there. We would definitely book again!

Our spring break stay at “Shorely Blessed” in Fort Morgan, AL, was fantastic! The house offered stunning views, easy beach access, and a lovely private pool. It was spacious, pet-friendly, and provided a peaceful, private retreat. The hosts were incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful, enhancing our experience. We’ll definitely be back!

The location was very peaceful and perfect for our fishing trips/days out at the beach. There’s several great restaurants in the area. Haley is a wonderful host and was very accommodating. We plan to stay again soon!

My son and I had a wonderful time at Marc and Jennifer’s guesthouse. The space was cozy and welcoming, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt right at home. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We were very please with the house. It was clean and comfortable and the pictures described it exactly. The back yard was very nice and the amenities underneath the house were awesome. You couldn’t see the water but it’s close enough to walk but we found it easier to drive. Amy helped us out with the parking permits to be able to park at certain locations on the beach. We will definitely rent again.

This place was perfect to get away from crowds. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The home inside was so clean and had everything we needed from items in the kitchen, spices, bathroom necessities, a grill with charcoal or a propane grill whichever you prefer. All the beach toys, chairs and supplies. So this was a spectacular vacation for our family. Driving to town was 20 minutes, did a Walmart pickup order and we had everything we needed just went out for dinner in the evenings. Perfect!

Sabine is an outstanding host! From the moment we entered her house, we felt welcomed into a home. The spacious open layout of the house transitions into screened in porches that span the entire back of the home on both stories. This home comes stocked with more than enough pans, plates, silverware, etc. It is located in a beautiful private lot and is only a short drive to the beach. If you’re looking for a house that feels like a home, I highly recommend Sabine’s home.

This is a stunning place from which to explore the island! You can walk over the dunes to the secluded beach nearby and take a swim all by yourself (not counting the pelicans and terns). If you want a bicycle to get around the island, there's currently just one rental in operation on the island -- Salty Dog. I recommend calling them in advance, and they can deliver the bikes to the place when you arrive.

Erin and Nick were very communicative throughout our stay. We did have to wait to check in as housekeeping was still cleaning due to unforeseen conditions from previous renters but we just hung out by the pool until it was ready. The house was very clean and Erin and Nick offered a late check in to make up for the later check in. We had a great time on vacation with our son and dogs. The beach wasn’t too busy. We found a nice spot to set up and we had all the beach essentials we needed available to us. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a more laid back beach vacation. It will not be as busy as the orange beach strip but the caveat is that there isn’t much else around you as far as restaurants or general stores. So get what you need before heading into Fort Morgan! Erin and Nick were great hosts and their home was very clean and well stocked!

We stayed in the property for about a week all I can say is location, location, location. Right on the water, waking up to sounds of the Gulf. Private beach is just steps down from the house. Property is airy with two exits to the balcony overlooking the Gulf, where you can sunbathe. Sand is so white and clean, it’s still in my dreams. Few things of note: if you will try to work from there, better brace yourself, WiFI is pretty much non-existent, goes in and out every 5 minutes (those minutes that it is on, it’s extremely slow), if I would live there definitely invest in Starlink. If you need to work there, go to Lighthouse Bakery, we found it’s only reliable internet on the island. During the storms (or high wind) house does move a little, but that comes with house being on the poles.
