We felt comfortable and enjoyed our stay!

We have stayed at the house to celebrate father’s day weekend with the kids and loved the pool, sauna, privacy and surroundings. The house itself is nicely decorated, with plenty of room, TV is every bedroom and comfortable beds. It is also sparkling clean! We loved the pool and spent majority of the time swimming and enjoying the outdoors. The house is also very close to a big grocery store and restaurants. We had no issues with anything. Kids loved feeding ducks (it is nice to have a bag of food for them in the garage). Great place for a weekend getaway with a family!

This is the second time that I had the great experience of renting from Misty! She is always responsive and so kind with each interaction. She is a great host and each location that I have airbnb'd from her have been immaculate and true to pictures. Her locations have details and supplies that are plenty. Thank you for the double "AA" batteries:) Look forward to airbnb'ing in the future. Thank you again Misty!

We enjoyed our stay at Live Like a Local! The neighborhood is quiet and the pool/spa were great! Close to the beach and restaurants. Would definitely recommend to family and friends!

This was a great week with family, very peaceful area, love the pool and dock for fishing, had everything we needed for the week. The house was very roomy, loved the screened porch....it was used alot, I would highly recommend this family getaway.

We’ve come to SSI for many years for annual golfing event. This was our first stay at this property. Absolutely no regrets and we will return. Interior renovations give clean, modern, and so comfortable feel. Everything was better than described, everything worked wonderfully. Our host was super responsive and accommodating. Don’t hesitate, we loved being there.

Candice was extremely accommodating and helpful whilst we were transitioning to move back to Brunswick. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay! I can’t thank her enough for her hospitality and for being so helpful ❤️

Madia’s place is amazing! It was perfect for our trip to St. Simons. it is beautifully decorated and had all of the things you need to feel right at home. The location was great, close to the beach, restaurants, shopping and a grocery store. We loved it and would definitely stay there again!

We love the little marsh house. This was our second time staying here. It’s very comfortable, clean, and peaceful. We really enjoy spending time on the porch and enjoying the surroundings. Definitely one of our favorite places. Thanks for the hospitality.

My boyfriend and I booked Amanda’s place with plans to have a laid-back beach vacation with lots of cooking fresh seafood and relaxing. Her place was perfect for it. Very cozy inside, and the backyard was warm and inviting. Our dog played out there every morning while we sipped coffees. Her place is located next to a great seafood market, City Market, so that was convenient. We enjoyed biking through the neighborhood and found an adorable deli (The Yellow Deli) 1 min away from the house on our bikes. It was perfect.

This house is perfect for a large group. There's a lot of room for everyone to move around. The neighborhood is quiet, and the backyard is ideal for sitting and resting. The location is about 15 minutes from both St. Simons and Jekyll Island. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was absolutely perfect and we could not have picked a better place to honeymoon. The house was spotless and had everything we could have needed! It was close to everything, quiet, private and spacious. Beautiful house & amazing experience! We hope to be back in the future!

Lovely and cozy cottage with a private patio which we enjoyed alot. Only slept in the master bedroom which had a comfortable bed. All furniture and appliances in good and working condition. The master shower is to die for!! The kitchen is very well stocked . We enjoyed walking the older established neighborhood every morning and some evenings. The grill area was impressive but not clean enough for me. You can hear the people upstairs but depend on who was up there, some were louder than others. I would definitely stay at this cottage again!!

We had a wonderful weekend family getaway before our son leaves for boot camp! The house is beautiful, spacious and our host was very friendly and responsive to our needs! We are definitely planning to come back soon!

My family really enjoyed the house. My adult/teenage children even put their phine down to complete a puzzle with their mom. We will most deffinitely stay here again when we come to visit Brunswick.

Ron’s place is extremely peaceful and such a cute place to stay. The loft bedroom was really cool, and the whole place was decorated really well. We enjoyed the boardwalk and saw dolphins in the river, sat around the fire pit, and drove to one of the local seafood restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

A great place to hang when we weren’t out exploring the endless adventures the area offered. Great little house and location for what we were looking for-explore the area and the beaches.

Beautiful home. It was very clean. The back yard was private and great for our dog.
