Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Dane County

This was such a beautiful home. It was very clean and a real treat to feel and experience its history. If we ever need a place to stay in the Madison area, this will definitely be our place of choice.

I had a great stay at Lori’s place in Monona! The space is the entire lower level of her home, offering plenty of privacy while still feeling welcoming. Lori was friendly and responsive—even helping me quickly my first night when I accidentally locked myself out after a long travel day. The home has a wonderful atmosphere, with the occasional aroma of homemade cooking making it feel extra cozy. The space was clean, quiet, and comfortable—a perfect retreat from a packed schedule of book events. It was just what I needed to regroup, get work done, and plan ahead before heading back out. The location is super convenient—Lyfts are easy to get, and getting to Madison was quick and seamless. Whether you’re in town for work or just looking for a peaceful, well-kept space, Lori’s place offers a great balance of accessibility and relaxation. Would absolutely stay here again!

My family had a wonderful experience staying at Ann's place. Even before we booked, she was quick to communicate and empathetic to our situation (we had a house flood). I truly appreciate how kind and thoughtful Ann was throughout--even checking in during our stay to make sure everything was going well. Beautiful home that is welcoming and setup well for guests. Highly recommend staying here!

The pictures really do not do justice to the inviting atmosphere. The decorations were very tasteful and pleasant. We loved the spacious patio and the open concept of the interior. We enjoyed the walking paths around the lake. We wish the pier had been open to us but that did not detract from the pleasant house. The fourth bedroom is a bit of a stretch since it is really a den with an air mattress. The only other thing that was a surprise was no access to the garage. We were bringing some large items to a wedding and needed a place to keep them until the wedding. Fortunately we have relatives in the area and took them to their garage. All in all it was an exceptionally pleasant home.

This home is super cute and has a generous supply of utensils and cookware— perfect for making meals at home (5 minutes from the grocery store). The bedroom and bathrooms were clean, tidy, and cozy. and the crafting room is also a great place to spend time together. Thank you!

The house was neat, clean and orderly. Easy to get inside. Bedrooms were amazing and everything was extremely clean. Backyard was so much fun!

This place was great for our group! Central location, plenty of parking and space, and the house was well cared for. We loved the hot tub, comfy couches and beds, and spotless bathrooms. The fixtures and furniture were noticeably of a higher quality than typical for a vacation home. Finally, the kitchen was fantastic for cooking for a large group - lots of pots and pans, counter space, a dishwasher, and a Tupperware collection all came in handy. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Elizabeth's place! She communicated with us proactively to make sure we had everything we needed. James rearranged the room for us when he found out that we were going to use the inflatable mattress. We were very comfortable. They welcomed us with cookies and there was a wide selection of teas, shampoo/ bodywash, medication and so on. We will definitely stay there again!

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in this cozy, historic house. The place was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully stocked with snacks. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and full of amenities within walking distance, making it a pleasure to explore. From the communication leading up to our stay to the smooth checkout process, everything about this experience was fantastic. I give it my highest recommendation!

Our stay at Tricia's was wonderful. We came into town, with our dog, to visit our son at school. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Check-in was convenient and Tricia was quick to respond if we needed anything. The neighborhood was very nice with a park and a few restaurants in walking distance. There was a short drive to campus which allowed us to pick up our son and bring him back to hang out. We all enjoyed ourselves and Tricia made it feel like home.
