Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Dane County

We were in town for a family friends wedding and needed a place to stay for the night. This was a perfect stay for us! Had everything we needed and Laura was very kind. This was the first place we stayed where the host wrote a welcome card and had a basket of goodies waiting. It was very thoughtful!

We spent the weekend here and enjoyed the house, especially our time hanging out in the yard and on the back deck! The house was very clean and thoughtfully prepared for guests. We appreciated the blackout shades, comfortable beds, and relaxing vibe. And having a garage space was very convenient!

One of the things I really appreciated was how proactive Mark was in his communications. He reached out before, during and at the end of our stay. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, the well-stocked kitchen and grilling out on the patio. We also appreciated having a queen in each bedroom. Mark gave us some good recommendations for nearby restaurants. The house was conveniently located and the neighborhood felt very safe. Would definitely recommend!

Michelle is a great host. Very communicative and helpful. We loved the snacks Michelle so kindly had ready for our family when we arrived! Paoli place is cozy with comfortable mattresses. With a peaceful view of the backyard we were able to watch various birds, squirrels and even a deer right from the kitchen window. Great walking trail nearby and close to a grocery store, coffee shop and cafes.

Conveniently located for our granddaughter’s graduation at Monona Grove High School and graduation party at Mc Carthy Youth and Conservation Park Cottage Grove. Lovely neighborhood. Highly recommended

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay at Diane's place. She has clearly put a lot of thought and effort into creating a terrific guest experience. The house was very nicely laid out, with a well-equipped kitchen, ample seating, plenty of linens, and comfortable beds. It was also very private, located at the end of a cul de sac. We very much enjoyed the views of the lake, to include from the deck and outdoor seating. Very convenient to Verona (and Epic), with good restaurants and other services located within a short drive. Very much recommended!

The guest suite was extremely spacious, clean, & charming. The beautifully landscaped property is tucked away in a small, rural neighborhood (perfect for walking our dogs!), yet very convenient for getting around the Middleton/Madison area. Phill & Vickey are very gracious hosts. We would definitely stay here again when back in the area!

Nice, dog-friendly place to stay near Madison. We were in town to visit family so we didn’t spend much time at the Airbnb. The bed was comfortable and the space was clean. It was perfect for our needs for the weekend and we would stay there again. Loved the welcome gifts (waters, snacks, and flowers) that were left for us!

We just completed an amazing getaway here at Lisa’s place. The pictures do not do this beautiful home justice. Everything is even better than presented. The kitchen is phenomenal - with every appliance, cook/bake/serveware you can imagine, and a perfect focal place for gatherings. Each room is cozy and homey - and there are so many hidden gems! The bedrooms were elegant yet amazingly comfortable for resting. And the location is super easy to access Madison while offering quiet & peace for morning & evening walks (added bonus if you bring your pup!). Finally and maybe best of all, Lisa is a perfect host!! Immediately responsive, really helpful with questions, and she offered terrific recommendations that we took up & thoroughly enjoyed. We all loved everything about our stay & plan to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Johnson House. It was so charming to stay in an historical home that is so well preserved and yet updated. The whole ambiance was comfortable and inviting. We really liked the outdoor seating area, and the bathrooms and bedrooms were so convenient and comfortable. Thank you Stacy for making your beautiful home available!

Very nice place for family stay in Monona. Especially nice kitchen space and amenities. Our family really enjoyed the screened patio and backyard space, as well as adorable friendly cat.

Joan’s place is a peaceful oasis on the edge of Middleton. You wake up to the sound of birds singing. You are surrounded by beautiful old farms and fields and yet in minutes you have access to the town of Middleton with restaurants and the BEST grocery stores! COSTCO is minutes away, Willy Street Coop a little further and then Whole Foods just a few miles further in Madison. The house is very comfortable with very large bedrooms with lots of storage space and the beds are beautifully appointed. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare and cook meals: beautiful silverware, dinnerware, cutlery, etc. This is an ideal place from which you can easily visit all that the Madison area has to offer. Or from which you can entertain friends and family, inside our out on the back deck or gathered around the fire pit.

This was a very nice location in a quiet neighborhood and lovely home overlooking a golf course. The owner has paid attention to detail to make this lower level part of the home warm and comfortable. We have pets (dog) and having a yard and sidewalks in the neighborhood for walking and being outdoors was a real treat. The screened-in porch was a favorite of ours, too. The owner was very responsive and helpful and offered complete, simple, and thorough instructions for our stay. Would definitely book again.

This place was the perfect quiet retreat while visiting family for the holidays. The location was conveniently close to everything and my dog and I enjoyed walking on the nearby trails. Cozy couch, comfy bed, and a nice shower! Thanks, Carole!
