Holiday rentals with a kayak in Dane County

Our family stayed at Adam's place for a family reunion and we absolutely loved it. Adam's place was as described in both the photos and narrative. The house was clean and easy to figure out. The best part was without a doubt watching the sunset over the lake from the beautiful back deck. We'd definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time.! We enjoyed the peacefulness and wildlife at Mike’s place. We took advantage of the nearby park for biking. We tried to fish off of the dock. We throughly enjoyed the hot tub on several occasions. It was wonderful having s’mores around the fire. We took advantage of local dining as well as driving 20 minutes to Madison. We loved the Brazilian Steakhouse! We also traveled 35 minutes to Fort Atkinson to enjoy our favorite dinner theater, the Fireside. There is a delicious local bakery that is inexpensive. Go in the morning because they sell out. My very favorite part was watching and listening to the birds. Mike has a bird feeder that attaches to the window in his sun room. We went to Walmart 10 minutes away and bought bird seed (on the last day I saw Mike has bird seed) and 2 cakes of suet. The suet was gone in 5 days! That’s how many birds we had. The home is clean and well appointed. They have MANY books sitting out.

This is a gem if you like to walk to local restaurant have access to all the stores you need and a need to feel surrounded by nature. The master bedroom was so wonderful with a screen door to leave open at night for fresh air, also a small balcony to view the water from bedroom. We left the outdoor summer lights on the deck that somehow reflected on the ceiling of the master bedroom at night it left a beautiful light pattern, magical place, to see turtles, birds and we saw a heron as we left the house, resting on the dock. Great location and amazing hosts! We had dinner on the grill with music it was simply perfect.- Thanks, again to our hosts! Worth it!

The home was a great fit for my crew and I needing an extended accommodation to start early on a project. Daryl was a responsive host and made the check in process as easy as possible.

Our family loved our stay! It was quiet, peaceful, and in a great location relative to downtown Madison! There’s lots to do with the life of the city, and our stay provided the perfect balance of solitude. Definitely a go-to spot!

The sunset view over the lake is amazing! The home is comfortable and kid friendly and the host was super helpful. Certain parts of the home are a bit older (bathroom and kitchen) but everything was clean and spacious. The dock wasn’t really good for swimming - overall this lake seems to be better for fishing (not our thing). We were in town for a business trip but this home turned the visit into more of a vacation.

This home is absolutely beautiful. It is right on the lake! Quiet at the end of the road. The porch overlooking the lake is heated and very, very comfy to sit and watch the sunset. It has a huge oversized tub that I didn’t even realize. And the infrared sauna in the living room was fantastic - especially after coming in from outside. The host Kym was very responsive and super helpful. “Evolve” the hosting company never replied to any messages. However, Kym was quickly responsive every time. So no issues at all that way. Easy Peezy and very well supported. I highly recommend this home! And I would love to return! Just beautiful. Thank you for a great stay. It was a perfect place.
