Beautiful room with a gorgeous ensuite bathroom in a house full of character. Great, central location in one of my favorite East London neighborhoods, with many cafés and restaurants in walking distance. Well connected via Hackney Downs and Hackney Central Overground. I had an evening flight and Alison was very accommodating and allowed me to store my luggage for a few hours after checkout

We enjoyed our long stay. Everything was as expected. The best for us was the proximity to the train station. We used it everyday for adventures into the city. We also liked the walkability of the neighborhood. Nearby there is a laundrette, wine shop, and a few good pubs that we frequented.

I had a great stay at Mel’s place in Dalston! The apartment has a really cool, artsy vibe that made it feel unique and welcoming. It was also very private and peaceful, which I really appreciated. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to Dalston Junction, with both train and bus options easily accessible, making it super convenient to get around London. Mel was a wonderful host—responsive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a stylish and well-connected spot in East London!

Ryan and Margit are very friendly and welcoming hosts. Their house is tastefully furnished and has a personal charm. Climbing stairs shouldn't be a problem as the house has three floors. The guest room is spacious, bright and very quiet as it faces the backyard. Since the house only has one bathroom with a toilet, sharing it with the hosts shouldn't be a problem. If you like a vibrant and diverse neighbourhood, Dalston/Hackney is in a prime location, with lots of exciting coffee shops, restaurants, bars etc. However, the property is about a 15-minute walk from an Overground station. Buses that stop near the house offer an alternative to walking.

My stay at Lydia’s was fantastic. She was warm, helpful, and had great communication throughout. The house is beautifully decorated – it honestly looked like something straight out of my Pinterest boards. While I did have to wait a couple of hours after check-in due to a cleaning delay, Lydia kindly let me drop my bags off earlier in the morning, which made things much easier. The location was also perfect – close to everything I needed and easy to get around from. I’d stay at Lydia’s again in a heartbeat.
