Holiday rentals with breakfast in Dakshina Kannada

We stayed one night in the Bright house. It’s not a fancy place. But if you enjoy a rustic villa all to yourself …. This is a right place. The house has all the basic amenities and the property including the surrounding garden / external area is immaculately kept . In addition, if you like bird watching, you would love this place. The host’s family lives in a separate house in the same compound. The host, Bhagawan, doesn’t live here but he was always in touch (remotely) and was extremely helpful. The best part of this place is his mother. She is a charming lady and an excellent cook. We loved her local cuisine. Unfortunately, she speaks only Kannada which i couldn’t speak. But we managed the communication through our driver. The only con part of this place that we felt is that the rooms were relatively smaller in size. We were only 3 people and this didn’t bother us. Overall, if you are looking for a quiet break around Sakleshpur, this place is highly recommended.

The place is located in, lets say, a village 25kms from somwarpet which is the closest town. So if you are looking for a luxurious stay, this may not be it. Bt the location is amazing, surrounded my mountains. The homestay was very comfortable. Extremely neat and clean. The host / caretaker, was extremely helpful. Always available for any queries or help. They served us with very homely / delicious food.

Mr. Thoufiq was the host, the rooms were super clean and welcomed us with a refreshing smell. He was also generous enough to accommodate an extra guest. The host also helped us in arranging local tours and sightseeing.

What an amazing trip it was - Vintage Heritage Stay! From the moment we entered Chikmagalore, Rudresh and his wife (hosts) were in contact with us, guiding us to his property. And when we entered his estate - WOW! We were sitting inside the coffee estates, forest and all we could hear was NATURE! We were greeted by their dog - Max, who took us through the property. Their hospitality was exceptional, the food was authentic and finger licking good, the night sky was clear for star gazing. He even took us to an off roading experience from where we saw the sunset. This place is a must go if you want to recharge, get closer to the nature and enjoy some time with yourself or your friends and family. Will plan a trip there again.

The place is surrounded by lush green coffee estate. if you prefer a stay free from noise and enjoy the calmness and wilderness of the surrounding then this place is perfect. special mention about the breakfast which was prepared by cheetan mom. If you appreciate tranquility, natural beauty, and a homely touch, this place is an absolute gem. Highly recommended for anyone looking to recharge amidst nature!

visited Coorg with family and luckily found this amazing homestay. This place is situated away from the city crowd, up in the hills, amid peaceful forest. The place is super clean and hygienic. The host is very proactive and helpful in every way. They were in constant contact till we reached. After that they were ready with everything before asking. They also helped us in exploring nearby places. Coming to the food, it was too good!! Home cooked food. Felt like home. No complaints at all. Recommendation: Plan to visit for 2-3 days at least.

The Homestay was really nice, had a nice view the area was peacefull. And lastly the room was really nice with all the amenities.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided clear instructions for check-in, which made the process seamless. The space itself was exactly as described — cozy, clean, and well-equipped with all the essentials I needed for a comfortable stay. The decor was charming, and I felt right at nature as soon as I walked in. Amazing food! Beautiful Garden!

Apartment is spacious, neat &  cozy. Amit was responsive and accomodative. He was helpful with the local recommendations as well. We had a pleasant stay.

Location is very tranquil, calm, and soothing. The hosts are very friendly did everything needed to make our stay memorable. Pallavi and her mother in law are very good cooks. We toured their farm where they grow coffee and pepper. There are a number of waterfalls and historic temples in the area that are worth visiting and not to forget the hikes that lead to beautiful views of the mountains and green valley. On areas for improvement, the place has one bathroom for a room of 8 people and an additional shared bathroom for the 3 rooms. The hosts can increase the number of shared bathrooms.

We had a wonderful stay at Rima's place. The home is located in a peaceful locality just a kilometer from Kapu beach. Place is exactly as described and was clean and tidy on arrival. Our son had a great time playing in the ample open spaces. Rima's parents were warm and welcoming and served us decent breakfast during our stay. We were able to order meals by calling the restaurants since Zomato, Swiggy doesn't work here. There is a sense of calmness and peace in the home and surrounding areas. Loved it stay at Rima's place.

The stay was amazing. If one likes the quite detox. This is the place to be. akarsh is a wonderful host. The food, service and every little thing was taken care meticulously. he suggested the places we can visit nearby and took care of all our needs.

From the second you set foot on his property, he makes you feel like you are a member of their family. He does not only show concern towards his guests but rather he leaves no stone unturned in trying to fulfill the guests' needs. This level of attention is indeed something that is difficult to find elsewhere. His property is secluded from all the noise maintaining a calm environment because it is surrounded by trees. If you're overwhelmed by city life and want to take a break and start fresh, then look no further. Regardless of where you place him, Ganesh would always make you feel welcome. He and his family would treat you with hospitality that can only be described as genuine. Speaking of food, the home cooked meals served are delightful. They are really nice - both to look at and to eat. So they add a nice touch to the stay. Staying over at Ganesh’s is not just about being a visitor for a couple of days but a wholesome experience. Highly recommend!

The place is nestled in the midst of a 25 acre coffee plantation. The owners are warm and gracious hosts who took care of our needs. The food was amazing and is home cooked. There is a lot to explore for hiking, nature lovers within the plantation. Definitely would recommend the place to anyone looking for calm surroundings and a wonderful place to stay at. The room is tastefully done up. Sandeep communicated with us and helped us with finding the right transport from the airport to the place. Sandeep's parents take care of the property and they took great care of us. Highly recommended if you want a peaceful and relaxed holiday!

Pepper Vines is a great place to chill with family and friends. Nestled amongst the wilderness of Chikmagalur, Sushvitha's place is a hidden gem. The food served is an absolute delight - don't miss out on these local cuisines!
