Holiday rentals with breakfast in Dakshina Kannada

We stayed one night in the Bright house. It’s not a fancy place. But if you enjoy a rustic villa all to yourself …. This is a right place. The house has all the basic amenities and the property including the surrounding garden / external area is immaculately kept . In addition, if you like bird watching, you would love this place. The host’s family lives in a separate house in the same compound. The host, Bhagawan, doesn’t live here but he was always in touch (remotely) and was extremely helpful. The best part of this place is his mother. She is a charming lady and an excellent cook. We loved her local cuisine. Unfortunately, she speaks only Kannada which i couldn’t speak. But we managed the communication through our driver. The only con part of this place that we felt is that the rooms were relatively smaller in size. We were only 3 people and this didn’t bother us. Overall, if you are looking for a quiet break around Sakleshpur, this place is highly recommended.

We had a great time at Coorg Classic. Mr and Mrs Ganapthi were wonderful hosts. They welcomed us and helped us with local recommendations. The cottages are very clean and extremely peaceful. All amenities are taken care of. The garden and sit out is beautiful for a peaceful morning tea. The breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed or chats with Ganapathi and ma’am. The homestay is walkable from city centre and one can easily walk to the main market. Yet the home is calm and peaceful. Their dog Zulu is adorable and very well mannered. We loved our stay and will definitely visit again. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to stay in Coorg but wants to be close to good restaurants and shops.

The property was spotless with all the required amenities. The family is very welcoming. It is located right at the centre of the town. All the attraction are in close proximity to this place. Yashin's mom made some delicious food. You will definitely get this homely feeling. Just ensure, you're informing them about the meal well in advance.

The place is absolutely peaceful, serene and calm. it's away from everything else, so it's just you and the sea and silence. caretaker Naveen is available to keep the place spotless and clean and also run errands. would love to return

Felt like heaven on earth. Host's father Mr Chinappa and mother Mrs Malliga together handle the property and look after the guests. They're are wonderful couple always willing to help and advise. Only Airbnb property where breakfast was served every day. We had the fortune of seeing the plantation and understand the types of plants - Arabica and Robusta, also the coffee processing from fruit to retail shop. Thankyou for hosting us. We loved it very much.

Edward organized a great stay for us specifically a great campfire at the evening time. We had a great time at the property - beautiful beach right in front!! Edward also took an interest in our itenirary. Hanumanthiah the helper at home deserves a mention - he made multiple teas and coffees for us and also Maggie. Overall was a great experience!

Pros - 1. Best AirBnB I have ever had. 2. Very spacious and clean independent house with all facilities and furniture. 3. Very calm environment and friendly host. 4. Definitely book here if you want a good break from your noisy life. Cons (Not about this place) - 1. This place is bit off from center or market area so plan for snacks and groceries accordingly as there's no nearby stores. 2. Food delivery do work here but will take some extra time so plan accordingly. Rest everything was best.

The Homestay was really nice, had a nice view the area was peacefull. And lastly the room was really nice with all the amenities.

Location is very tranquil, calm, and soothing. The hosts are very friendly did everything needed to make our stay memorable. Pallavi and her mother in law are very good cooks. We toured their farm where they grow coffee and pepper. There are a number of waterfalls and historic temples in the area that are worth visiting and not to forget the hikes that lead to beautiful views of the mountains and green valley. On areas for improvement, the place has one bathroom for a room of 8 people and an additional shared bathroom for the 3 rooms. The hosts can increase the number of shared bathrooms.

We had a wonderful stay at Rima's place. The home is located in a peaceful locality just a kilometer from Kapu beach. Place is exactly as described and was clean and tidy on arrival. Our son had a great time playing in the ample open spaces. Rima's parents were warm and welcoming and served us decent breakfast during our stay. We were able to order meals by calling the restaurants since Zomato, Swiggy doesn't work here. There is a sense of calmness and peace in the home and surrounding areas. Loved it stay at Rima's place.

beautiful stay, in case you want to be in the city. the place is situated right in the middle and close to all the touristy places. our intention from the trip was to relax with good authentic Kodava food( please check our Coorgcuisine, which is 5 minutes from the homestay) Monthi aunty is a wonderful host and treated us with the best and utmost sincere hospitality. The rooms are ultra clean and we can ask her for anything and she will help us out. the homestay itself has a beautiful garden and waking up to such beauty is wat one needs on a vacation. She has two dogs of her own, who are caged. we prefer dogs sleeping with us and we found that a bit difficult to digest. but then, it was her home and we couldn't say much. Overall, a good experience.

The Lodge in Madikeri is a wonderful example of how heritage charm blends seamlessly with modern amenities to create a serene and peaceful atmosphere. At first glance, it felt like a simple old house, but it turned out to be one of the most beautiful and memorable experiences of our Coorg trip. The host—and especially the caretaker and their family—were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The Google Maps location is slightly off, and a signboard on the main road would make it easier to locate. That said, this is truly a must-stay property and absolutely worth every penny. We're already looking forward to visiting again!

This Airbnb is the best of all I have tried so far in my travelling life. A very beautiful and serene property nestled amongst the clouds in Coorg. The caretaker and owner were very generous and helpful offering all amenties and accomodating all our requests. A definite must try and value for money.

Pepper Vines is a great place to chill with family and friends. Nestled amongst the wilderness of Chikmagalur, Sushvitha's place is a hidden gem. The food served is an absolute delight - don't miss out on these local cuisines!

Rainforest retreat is a beautiful getaway close to Madikeri. The Luna cottage is relatively easier to access than some of the other cottages in the plantation. There's plenty to do in and around the plantation - bird watching, hiking, learning about medicinal plants, etc. The food was excellent and Ravi Anna was very helpful and ensured that we had everything we needed. We would absolutely recommend Rainforest Retreat to anyone looking to spend more time in nature and enjoy organic food and a sustainable way of living.

Overall it was a great experience staying at this property. The host was gracious, always checking if I needed anything, was kind enough to wait for me to get back at night even though I was getting back to room later than expected. Will definitely recommend this stay and will also be the first option if I ever travel to Mulki again
