Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Dakota County

The little yellow cottage was comfortable and convenient. The two of us and our adult son were comfortable with plenty of space. We know the area and so knew it would be convenient to everything we would need while in town. Yet is quiet and peaceful. Neighbors were friendly ("hello", "nice day", lots of rain recently") but not intrusive. I got a compliment on the limestone retaining wall along the sidewalk. I just smiled and said thank you. Felt very safe and secure.

Rebecca’s air bnb is a real treasure. Clean, well decorated, she thought of little touches that made things easier like hooks right next to the shower light that goes on automatically when you walk into the kitchen/laundry area. Its location can’t be beat, close to shopping , Cecil’s, my favor deli and for me close to family I came to see. Rebekah is a wonderful person and I am so glad that I got to stay in her comfortable, well appointed place.

Nice home in convenient location. Plenty of room for large groups. Very responsive host. Could easily prepare meals if desired. Nice decor.

Amazing location and such a great place for a girls weekend!

This was our second year staying at this home in South Minneapolis, and it continues to be a great fit for us. The location is ideal—quiet neighborhood, easy access to parks, local shops, and public transit, with plenty to explore nearby. The house itself is comfortable and well-kept, with everything we needed for a productive remote work setup. We appreciated the reliable Wi-Fi and peaceful atmosphere. Overall, it’s been a solid base for working and enjoying the city. We’re likely to return for our next trip.

Very responsive host. Comfortable and convenient home in a nice neighborhood. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. As someone who has lived in both Minneapolis and St. Paul, I love this location. 15-20 mins to pretty much anywhere you want to go and very close to Highland neighborhood in St. Paul, which means you are close to some shopping and restaurants. Mississippi Blvd has sidewalks within a block and a half of this home and it’s very close to Hidden Falls Park. Shower is awesome with great water pressure. Water does get scalding hot, so be aware of that. More of an awareness thing than complaint as there is nice hot water. Convenient closest with hangers, soaps in shower, etc. We would stay again.

Me and my friend booked last minute for a concert and Tanya was very accommodating and helpful. The house was super cute and fit what we needed perfectly for our short stay. It’s super close to everything but still in a neighborhood far enough away from central downtown that you don’t feel in the middle of everything. Also coming from a home with crap water pressure the shower was amazing and I could have lived in it.

After figuring out how to enter (entryway was dark) we found everything as promised. The TV’s sound was raspy but after texting Brenda, she sent someone over to fix it. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. All in all the location was great and the experience was good

Nancy and Rick's place is tremendous! Very comfortable, well appointed, great amenities and the location was awesome. The place is spacious and cozy; bed was extremely comfortable. We love Minneapolis and will return here again. We loved walking/biking around the area (so easy!) with many restaurants and parks to visit. We've been to many, many AirBnbs; this is one of the best. We didn't see Rick but had a great chat with Nancy.

Very flexible and great communication. Highly suggest for students who are rotating at the VA hospital.

We stayed here for about 6 weeks for a job we had in Red Wing. Easy drive in and out. The place was well stocked and very clean. The only irritation we had was the parking and the bar next door. You never knew what the parking situation was going to be. And the bar could be loud on the weekends and very busy. Other than that, we would definitely recommend people staying here for long term jobs. Anthony was always responsive and very accommodating when we needed to extend our stay.

The house and neighborhood were perfect! My 7 year old really enjoyed the bunny sculptures out front and all the family games. The house was even nicer than expected. We loved resting in the little alcove near the entryway.

Apryl made this stay extremely easy and enjoyable! Anything that I needed was either already supplied or willingly gifted by Apryl! Even when we ran into some plumbing issues she was super helpful and efficient in making sure the place was good to go as soon as possible! I had my dog with me and numerous times she went out of her way to make sure he had treats and a cozy bed to sleep on while I was away at workouts. I would 10/10 recommend this place as it’s a quick trip to downtown Minneapolis and only a few blocks from the interstate! Apryl was a great host for many different reasons, and if I am ever back I will definitely be looking to stay again!

This loft truly was cozy! It was immaculately clean, had lots of charming touches, and was quite comfortable. In spite of a busy main street, we were never bothered by noise. The loft was very conveniently located to everything we wanted to do...1 block to the Cannon Valley trailhead, 1/2 block to Nick's Diner, and acress the street from a great antique store. The host was extremely responsive with a minor issue we had with the TV (we are NOT techy.) She is such a kind and friendly woman. We would definitely stay here again, should the occasion arise!

This was a very cute place, I can definitely see it being a fun place for a large group! The trains could be a little noisy at night, but that can’t be helped. Earplugs are an easy solution for light sleepers. Otherwise, this was such a cute and unique standout from so many other airbnbs in this area.

This was hands down the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in! We visited as a family and had an amazing time. The location is perfect—just a short walk to downtown with stunning views of the town. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous—every detail was so thoughtfully designed and beautifully styled. It truly felt like a home away from home. The glam touches throughout make it an ideal spot for a girls' weekend or bachelorette party. I wasn’t even planning to get ready in the mornings, but the chic vanity area was too fun to resist! Megan (the host) was incredible—super responsive, helpful, and kind, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% recommend it. Can’t wait to come back!

Clean, as advertised Airbnb. Everything in the apartment worked. Every thing in the game room worked. Wonderful, clean thoughtful designed apartment. Beautiful patio and game room.

My husband and I were in town to visit our son. Stephanie’s place provided a serene, peaceful atmosphere with a beautiful view of the lake. Her backyard patio and flower garden was a great space to relax and visit in.

I had an absolutely great time at Raul’s place! The place was very comfortable and had everything I needed to make my stay wonderful! He gave me places to have breakfast and was very accommodating and easy to reach since his store is underneath the Airbnb. If I moved to Minneapolis I would rent this place permanently! Thank you Raul for a great visit!
