Lovely cottage, had everything we needed for a great week. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. All the crockery, utensils and pans you need for cooking. Hot tub was certainly a favourite and well used! Nice to have plastic ‘glasses’ for use outside. Great selection of games was a nice surprise. Being able to walk the dog right from the doorstep made it so easy - we really enjoyed exploring the smallholding. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers and support. Yes, the Tesco delivery man did manage to find us and unload :-)

Very lovely place, me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The host responded quickly and the property looked exactly like the photos. All the extra little touches like the fire wood, slippers, eggs and etc really made us feel welcome. Overall we really enjoyed our stayed and would happily stay here again.

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

We had the most wonderful stay at Maria & Steve’s barn, which has been beautifully converted and is located in a stunning valley. Maria and Steve were super friendly, fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome. The hamper was lovely treat too! The barn was really well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed exploring the local area, including cycling the Tarka trail and Exmoor; visiting the Tarr Steps; walking from the barn around the ancient woodlands and spending the morning at Marwood Hill Gardens. A highlight of our stay was relaxing in the hot tub and listening to the evening birdsong. We would highly recommend Maria & Steve’s, it really is a special place 🌟

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. Spotlessly clean and bright. Very well equipped modern kitchen. Comfortable lounge and bedrooms and a sunny conservatory for dining in. Our host Helen welcomed us and a gorgeous cream tea awaited us, together with homemade scones, jam and bread. Milk, butter and eggs also provided. Such attention to detail. The garden is pretty and dog safe. Helen even provided dog bowls and towels and a treat! We would highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

We had a lovely stay, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Great property, felt right at home and had everything we needed, loved the decor! Private area, but still a short drive to nearest town/things to do. Lovely location, especially for our dog!

We had a short sweet stay at the Tower before a trip to Lundy. Westward Ho beach and Appledore village were within walking distance and Bideford harbour (Lundy ferry departure point) was a short drive away. Check in was hassle free, we felt we could have asked if we had any issues (we didn't) the tower itself was lovely and quirky in a peaceful location and had everything we hoped for kitchen, bedroom and bathroom-wise.

We have just returned from a long weekend in North Devon and a stay at Carpenters Cottage, the cottage itself is beautiful, quaint and quirky, we loved it! The roll top bath was fabulous for a long relaxing soak after lots of exploring. The outside space was perfect for us, just a nice space to sit and enjoy a drink of an evening. The log burner, whilst we didn’t use it, had everything you would need to be super cosy. Our host Jon, was spot on with directions etc and recommendations and super helpful going above and beyond with requests I made prior to arrival, thank you 🙏🏻. We would have no problems in recommending Jon and Carpenters Cottage 😊

it's our second stay at Fish Cottage, the kids love it, we love it. As we are originally from devon we can access all our favourite places on day trips due to the location so really works for us Cottage is spacious, interesting and really well equipped and comfortable for our family. will continue each year if we can !! thankyou

Marc and Amy were fantastic hosts! They provided everything promised. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness toward their guests is apparent. Marc gave us a thorough tour and history of the property which was fascinating - especially coming from the states where buildings aren’t nearly that old! Our only honest regret is that we didn’t book a few more days so we could spend more time on the property to explore and appreciate the hard work they’ve put into its upkeep and restoration.

We had a great time at Dummett cottage. All instructions were really clear. Even the warnings about the low beams/door frames.... can't say I didn't try them out though!! Great views from the back garden and study. We had a front view seat with all of the military goings on from the British and french marines who were practicing across the bay on the dunes. Great food at flame factory and great music entertainment at the beaver inn. Lovely walks around the coast at Brownsham and across the water at Braunton. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Excellent accommodation. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. High standard of cleanliness and clutter-free, yet all facilities we needed. Would 100% stay here again. 20 mins walk to beach. Really great local pub/food.

Absolutely fantastic cottage, the pictures honestly don’t do it justice. Located in such a good spot close to a number of amazing beaches, one of which is a short walk across the field opposite. Jon was a great host and we’ll definitely be visiting again!

Great little cottage. Was very clean, neat and tidy, lots of space for four inside and a lovely little private garden up a little path. Great location for the beach and village. Would definitely go back. Thank you Gareth.

We loved our stay at Mill Cottage. The house was immaculate, cosy, full of character — and the mill wheel still works! There were lots of thoughtful touches, including tea, coffee, biscuits, and fresh milk in the fridge, which were especially welcome after a long journey. The location was great: just a 5-minute walk into the village, which had a good range of restaurants and takeaways. A supermarket was only a 5-minute drive away, and the beach just 10 minutes by car. Carole really was a super host. She went above and beyond to help with additional requirements due to my partner’s disability. Without hosts like Carole, we simply wouldn’t be able to go on holiday — we’re incredibly grateful. Thank you! We’d thoroughly recommend Mill Cottage, and it would be our first choice if we visit North Devon again.

We had a brilliant stay at Hideaway Cottage. It was well equipped, comfortable for 4 adults and the views (and sunsets) from the garden were absolutely stunning. Appledore itself is a perfect location to explore North Devon. Thanks also for the cream tea!

A fabulous few days away in Park Cottage with friends. Really lovely cottage with very comfortable beds (and feather pillows which was a bonus for us) Perfect location and massively recommend Miss Fea’s for dinner. Would love to come back again. Matt, Linda, Jill and Andrew

We had a lovely stay a Rock Cottage. It's beautifully furnished, comfortable and had everything we needed to relax after a day walking or beach dwelling! Morthoe is a very pretty little village that has everything you need and Woolacombe is not far at all, a very scenic walk away. We enjoyed Barricane beach with its cafe and sheltered waters for a swim. We hope to return. Thank you Anya 😊

Whilst very rural, the location of this house was fantastic for a long weekend with ours kids (ages 9 and 6). It's very close to Croyde, Woolacombe and other beaches, and we ate dinner one night at the pub in Georgeham (10 minute drive). It was very clean and there was a lovely basket of scones with jam & clotted cream that we enjoyed after a long drive. We spent evenings at the house making dinner and playing games, and it was quite quiet despite facing a road as there isn't much traffic there. The hosts were very amenable, and we appreciated an early check-in on the bank holiday Friday. Thank you :)

Sarah was very helpful the cottage was ready earlier than expected which was appreciated after a long journey. The cottage was well presented and in a lovely location . The views were spectacular. We had a very pleasant stay.
