Monthly Rentals in Cross Foxes Inn

We had a lovely stay in Ty Trol at Gwanas Fawr. The cottage is cosy, with a lovely garden and paddock which was perfect for our boys and dogs to run around. The local area is beautiful with many different walks nearby, and Dolgellau only 5 minutes drive away for supplies and restaurants. We’ll definitely be back to explore the area more, and would love to stay at Ty Trol again!

Great place to stay to walk Cadir Idris. The pony path carpark is only 5 minutes up the road. And its just a 2 minute walk into town for food and beer.

A beautiful little pod nestled in the hills and mountains just outside Dolgellau. Depending on time of year when visit you will need to get used to three constant sounds, running water from the adjacent brook, birdsong and lambs. All equally peaceful and charming in their own right. This pod is as described and pictured and set within a beautiful part of the world. With Cadair Idris in sight, this is an ideal stay if you plan to spend most of your time exploring the mythical mountain. Rhian is an excellent host and provided very precise directions and checking in instructions and flexibility on check out. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at Clywedog, definitely on my list to return to as it is such a beautiful spot and serves as a fantastic base for this less busy part of Eryri.

We enjoyed a lovely few days at Debbie’s cottage. The location is ideal -in a small town with everything you need within walking distance and set amongst amazing scenery. The cottage is thoughtfully furnished, well equipped and comfortable for two people. We loved returning to it each day after our walking trips. Highly recommended!
