Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Crete

Very good place to stay for visits and hikes throughout the West of Crete. Pleasant accommodation and very nice private outdoor space, very quiet and close to the sea (port, beach) and nature. For example, we see and hear the goats going down the hill in the morning. Great restaurants and small supermarket nearby.

It was one of the best places we stayed in Europe. The house has everything you need, from kitchen utensils to an outdoor table. Yannis is an amazing host and not only gave us heaps of recommendations but also received us with local food. We will never forget it! Thank you so much.

Very comfy flat, super clean, white sheets and towels. Perfect location for shopping, restaurants, supermarket, meeting points for travelling, also very close to the port. Enjoyed mornings and evenings on the balcony, feeling the city centre life. George was a very responsive host and supportive when a needed help. The refreshments and small treats were also a nice sign of hospitality. Definitely an excellent place to stay in Heraklion!

We felt very comfortable directly upon arrival at the accommodation. There is a fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms. There are 2 bedrooms, a "master bedroom" and a "children's bedroom". We initially had some problems with the stove/oven, as the fuse was not set correctly, as you should not use too many electrical appliances at once and have to switch something in the fuse box every now and then. However, we were able to get help quickly and efficiently. There is a path directly past the beautiful garden to the (stone) beach, which we liked to use, but also isolated dog owners or walkers can use this path. The transition of the gardens with the neighbours is fluid, so that the chickens/dogs/cats of the neighbours were sometimes in front of the door, which did not bother us as animal-loving people. The neighbours have generally been very nice. We liked the east of Crete (explored with a rental car) very much!

Nothing more to say than: perfect!! Super clean - super comfy - and Manos a brilliant host!! If you need something he is there in a second! It felt like home since the very first second! 100% recommendation from our side!! Thank you for having us, Manos!! We appreciated every single second in your beautiful home! It’s perfectly located to explore the area around Agios Nikolas and all the way to Myrtos!

We visited in July 24 and our party comprised two families. Elizabeth was very helpful throughout the booking which was a valuable comfort. The house is two separate flats (upstairs and downstairs) which worked well for us. The property is generally nice and in good condition, but a little dated in terms of the furnishings. The games room (pool table and table tennis) was great for the kids and the pool area was also good. The property cleaning and pool maintenance was good. The rooms are air conditioned and this is needed in summer. It is located a short car hop from Plakias and other nearby beaches but probably too far to regularly walk in the summer heat. We really liked the area which was good value and full of options. We had a great holiday in the property!

For us it was an amazing stay in the idyllic little villa complex with pool and a beautiful wide view. The surroundings are peaceful, but you are close enough to walk to beach, restaurants and shopping. To reach more cities, beaches, etc., I would recommend having a car. The Greek host couple was very warm, attentive and helpful. We will gladly come back.

What an amazing property near Chania! Our family absolutely loved the place, and the views cannot be beat. Being able to see the ocean and feel the warm breeze every morning on the balcony was so special. It was also very close to the Agia Marina and Platanias beach that we went to everyday; old town Chania was just 20mins away. Nikki was a great host and so responsive, she was able to answer all our questions. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

Fantastic Airbnb and host! Looks just like the photos and is part of a lovely, authentic square in Maza village. We were so impressed with the hosts who went out of their way to supply us with a baby cot. The Airbnb also came with things like coffee, tea etc which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend!

The place was great—clean, with very friendly hosts. The welcome basket was perfect after our flight. the accommodation is just a 10-minute walk from the beach and close to stores and restaurants. We'll definitely come back when we're in the area again. Thank you very much for everything.

Gabrielle is an exceptional host. She was able to give advice on the area so that we could make the most of our stay. Always attentive to ensure that our family lacks nothing (toys for children, adapted bed, etc.). I would recommend the accommodation, it is comfortable and in a peaceful location in the heart of a small village.

Our stay went great! The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, quiet, well-equipped and as described. It is ideally located, close to everything, which is very convenient. The host Emmanuel and his charming little family are really adorable, welcoming and always attentive. As soon as we had a question or a small problem, he responded immediately and arrived in less than 5 minutes. It felt like home. And what can I say about the view... even more incredible than we imagined, a real little corner of paradise! A big thank you to Emmanuel and his family, we will be happy to come back. I recommend it 100%!

We loved Ioannis’s apartment it was great as it is very local also walkable into Chania ( takes about 25 minutes) there are local buses which regularly go up and down into the town ,2 euros , also we got the electric bus which is free The apartment is huge with the massive terrace all around the roof gets some fabulous sunsets it has all amenities needed and a well stocked kitchen There are a lot of stairs which might not be for everybody but we classed them as exercise after eating all the delicious pasties The area and the local people are very warm and friendly I would fully recommend this apartment to anyone Thank you Ioannis Kim and Ron

The perfect home for a couple, an impeccable apartment, you can relax by just walking along the boardwalk and breathing the sea breeze from this great place, you can shop just a few steps where there are all kinds of shops and you can appreciate the traditional Greek and Crete food. Aliki was superb from the very beginning, she helped us with the check in by giving us very clear instructions and she received us very warmly. She recommended gorgeous places to us and was available at any hour for anything. I recommend with great confidence and pleasure, Aliki will make you feel like home.

A great place, with a beautiful view, secluded enough not to be in the tourist hustle and bustle while being close to shops. Ideal for relaxation after unrestrained visits. The pool: very nice. An ideal geographical location to criss-cross the west of Crete. Offbeat apartments, so we don't mind. Only small downside, the shower that really deserves to be improved. In summary, we had a wonderful week at Franck's place who is a great host, we recommend it.
