This country cottage is beautiful, comfy and cozy. Upon driving in the first time, you may wonder where you are going as you are on a cow path leading to this cute little cottage. You may pass cows in the pasture or chickens running around; definitely a working farm. Donagh was very responsive to any questions or needs. Our stay was in December, and he brought us an electric heater until the comfy heat came up through the floor. We were also greeted with some thoughtful little treats. The town of Askeaton is small with a grocery store and gas station. You will definitely need a car to sightsee or go out to a restaurant. We traveled about two hours each day to get to sigths we wanted to see. If you are looking for a glimpse at farmlife in a very comfy, cute cottage, you will enjoy Donagh's rental. The house was immaculate and had all the comforts of home and a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the fresh milk, eggs , butter and jam that was in the refrigerator. The owner met us and gave us the details of the home.
