Monthly Rentals in Crebbio

Both hosts were amazing, Fabiola was very responsive through our chat on Airbnb as I was asking her for some local recommendations (they were amazing) and other instructions. Check-in was very smooth as Alberto was waiting for us and personally showed us the house. No second thoughts, I will choose this again if I visit lake como. Small notes, the house is situated on a hill (in case travelling with public transport), but very accessible with the car which we could park for free nearby.

We have rarely been hosted as well on Airbnb as at Marco and Mara's. It's like being at home, in a vintage atmosphere. There is absolutely everything necessary for the kitchen and bathroom, the bedding is clean and comfortable, the lake view is very beautiful and Marco and Mara are perfect hosts 🙂 thank you again to both of them! Abbadia is small but the train and ferry are within walking distance to visit the surroundings of the lake and there are a few shops nearby.

The place is lovely and just as it looks in the pictures. We were traveling with four kids, and the house was spacious enough to meet all our needs. Parking in the village can be a bit challenging but you can always find a spot after a short wait of 10-15 minutes when someone leaves. There are several hiking trails around including a beautiful waterfall that's about an hour's walk from the house. The outdoor area features a grill and has a spectacular view, making it a peaceful and beautiful spot to relax. Jacqueline, our host, was very nice and helpful, living in the same house downstairs. We experienced some issues with the electricity failing a few times when the washing machine and oven were in use; however, with some care to avoid simultaneous usage, we could avoid this. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was a bit weak, and the 4/5G coverage was spotty in the area. Overall, it is a wonderful place with a supportive host, making it an excellent choice for a stay in the Como Lake area.

Super small place close to the beach and the pier. Supermarket 5min drive and great base to visit the coastal villages. By boat from Varenna the tour of the three villages was simply beautiful 🤩 Suitable for a family with teenagers. No outside. Small street parking space. Our host is full of good tips and very friendly! Thank you 🙏
