There is a wood burning stove, a well equipped kitchen with washing machine ,fridge freezer, gas hob and electric oven. The bathroom has a deep bath with an over bath shower and to keep your feet cosy under floor heating and a heated towel rail. Anchor Cottage is a cosy 2 bedroom house, sleeping up to 5 adults, which sits in a pretty sun-trapped courtyard in the lovely conservation town of Anstruther, only 2 minutes from the harbour and on the Fife Coastal Path. The property has its own private parking space right outside the front door and is perfect for that romantic weekend or for memorable family getaways, only feet from the harbour with its restaurants, bars and beaches.

Whether you want to be active or just relax, Howden Cottage is a great base to enjoy all the delights of East Lothian. If you want a trip to Edinburgh it's about a 45 minute drive or you can drive to the local station - about 8 minutes away and take the train which is 25 minutes. Parking at the station is free.
