Self contained part of charming thatched cottage in this attractive South Oxfordshire village, between Didcot (2.5 miles) and Wallingford (3.5 miles). The accommodation has its own entrance, sitting room - with inglenook fireplace (only use electric fire provided) - and steep, winding stairs leading to the large bedroom with vaulted ceiling and superking bed. Guests will have sole use of the adjoining bathroom. Period features also include low beams, but rule out a shower. Not for children.

The Duck House is a quirky, characterful, cosy and extremely comfortable self-contained annex set in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside with easy access to Wallingford, Dorchester, Henley, Oxford and the Cotswolds. Bicester Village outlet centre is a short drive away. From the Duck House there is a short walk to the award winning 16th Century Thatched Pub, the Red Lion, in our village. There are many lovely walks around the village, surrounding countryside and path along the River Thames.

Family run medieval manor including breakfast

I offer a full English breakfast, organic and locally sourced served in the medieval dining room. You will love the large spacious period rooms in this unique Historic building run by friendly family. Beautiful gardens. Close to good restaurants , National Trust houses and public transport. Ideal for Oxford, Henley and beautiful villages. Excellent walking area. All the rooms are very individual ranging from early 12th century , to Victorian ,beautifully furnished appropriate to the period.

Lovingly decorated double room & private bathroom

The house is situated in a desirable East Oxford street, with cafes, restaurants, pubs & shops a minute or two away. Oxford City Centre is a 15 minute walk with good bus services at the end of the road. The property is a Victorian terrace and the bay window fronted bedroom and private bathroom are next to each other. There is a cat in the house. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided in the bedroom and a continental breakfast is available on request, as is a cooked veggie breakfast.

Quiet & comfortable, with lots of books to browse.

Twin room and single room in modest post-war semi. Parking. Shower room. Good choice of local eateries for an evening meal. No cleaning fee. Frequent bus services (see below). Very safe at night. Books. Wifi. Canal walks. Kidlington is a welcoming market 'village' of 18,000 on Oxford's northern edge. Richard Branson was its most famous resident until he moved to his island. Oxbridge history is very rich as these were the only two universities in England up until the 1820s.

We have a first floor double room overlooking the garden with spacious ensuite shower room. Off street parking, garden with its very own stream. Easy access to Oxford, the Cotswolds, Bicester Village and historic places like Blenheim Palace. Good links to London. Close to lovely village pub. After many years as Superhosts we took a break but now we are back and look forward to welcoming you to our home.
