The perfect weekend getaway. The house was adorable and very well furnished. The location was beautiful and very convenient. Susan was a wonderful host. We visited at the end of February and really appreciated that she gave us a heads up that many of the restaurants and stores would be closed for the season. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

I stayed at the cottage for several days over New Year, and although at times the winter winds were howling and the snow was blowing, the cottage was snug, cozy, and warm. In the Bruce Peninsula National Park and other areas around the Northern Bruce, there are many hiking trails and wonderful scenic views which I greatly enjoyed, and after a long winter hike in the snow, the hot tub was a very welcome place to soak tired muscles. The kitchen is well appointed, with all the necessary appliances, and the living room furniture is very comfortable for reading or napping. The bed was also very comfortable. Silvia communicated well and was very responsive, so I had no trouble with anything during my stay. Although I visited in winter, I can see that it would also be a wonderful place in other seasons. Highly recommended!

Del is an amazing host! He kindly lent us some batteries when we needed them, and the sandwiches he made were absolutely delicious! He’s such a friendly and thoughtful person. The cottage is beautiful, and the view of the lake is just stunning. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back again. Thank you, Del!
